Hello Beth! I was wondering if got your deposit back. I am sad to know that you will not consider booking with us because of the deposit. You see l have had some issues with guests breaking doors and pouring oil into the sink and dishwasher and the insurance was the only way l was able to fix the problems. If you believe that the deposit is much you can contact me before booking and l can have Vrbo work something out. Thanks for your feedback. Obie

Dear Guest! In Response to your concerns, We had hired a new cleaning service in the middle of the month and they were highly recommended. So we trusted that they will follow our policy. Our policy has always been that The sheets and towels are to be washed after a guest checks out. So we were not happy to learn that the sheets may not have been washed. The smoke alarm batteries were changed as advised 2days after daylight saving day March 12 Couldn’t tell why they were going off we have since replaced the batteries . The ice maker in the refrigerator is currently not connected. We couldn’t respond to her messages because we had a complete internet outage due to storm. We communicated with the guest as soon as we got connected and saw her messages. We have addressed the issues with bed sheets, dishes, pots and smoke alarm. We are doing everything to address the issues and concerns of our guests. . Thank you for pointing out your concerns we will definitely address each one. We hope you will choose to stay with us next time you are in town.

It’s Unfortunate that a grown adult will tell so many untruths about their experience. First off each bathroom had 2 extra toilet rolls . There was an extra roll of paper towel in the pantry. You failed to download the app telling me that you had no WiFi outside the house. You see there’s an electronic foot print that August lock can send to you to prove that you were given access to the property the whole time you were there. I don’t have any bed that has issues except if your children were jumping on the bed. Each room has a towel and the master bedroom had 2 towels. You had more people in the house than you indicated when you booked and l could see you on the ring app. About the alarm it was an unfortunate incident that the smoke alarm went off . I offered to come by and fix it and YOU said that you took care of it . On VRBO app it says that l have a smart lock but If YOU never tried to connect to the AUGUST LOCK app l don’t know if that’s against me. You don’t have to tell all these untruths. You were not even honest from the start. You had more people than you indicated on the app. Next time start by being truthful when you book your stay FYI in the cabinet right under the coffee maker we have trash bags of different sizes black ones clear ones blue ones so l really don’t understand what you mean by not finding trash bags.
