Guest Access:
Guests will have complete and private access to the entire condo. Your arrival is made easy with a smart lock for seamless self check-in at your convenience. Parking includes one designated space in the garage. A second additional outdoor parking spot is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Neighborhood:
This condo is located in a part of town closest to the ski lifts, hiking trails and mountain biking trails. The condo is a 10 min walk to the ski lifts at Canyon Lodge and a 20 min (1 mile) walk to the nearest shops/restaurants in the Village. The location is perfect for anyone who values the convince of staying close proximity to the mountain.
*NOTE* Our condo is located close to Canyon Lodge. While many consider it a short easy walk it can also be challenging to others depending on weather conditions, gear, number of kids, and ones physical condition.
Getting Around:
Mammoth offers a great for public bus system that runs regularly throughout the year. The closest bus stop is the Blue line stop #73 located at the bottom on the driveway along Canyon Blvd. After walking to the bottom of the driveway turn right onto Canyon Blvd and walk toward the mountain for about 100 yards until you come to Stop #73. The blue line does a continuous loop from the Village to Canyon lodge and back, leaving every 15 min. Look up "Mammoth Lakes Transit" online for a detailed map with departure times.
Our condo is tucked up in the forest near Canyon Lodge base area providing walking access to and from the ski area. The condo is about 1 mile from the Village and 2.7 miles to the middle of town (Vons).
There is a great bus system in Mammoth that is free and will take you anywhere in town. The Blue line and Night Trolly loop from the Village to Canyon lodge every 15-20 min from 7:05am - 11:52pm. Stop #73 is the closest stop to our unit and is located at the base of the Mammoth Ski & Racquet Club driveway along Canyon Blvd. Check the Eastern Sierra Transit website for more details on the routs and times as they adjust through the year.
Other Things to Note:
STAIR ACCESS ONLY: Please be aware that the condo is located two floors above the garage. Access requires walking up two flights of stairs. There is no elevator, and the property is not wheelchair accessible.
STEEP DRIVEWAY: The driveway to our complex is steep. Guests are highly encouraged to travel with tire chains or 4X4/AWD in the winter months (Nov - April)
HIGH-SPEED INTERNET: Stay connected with strong, reliable WiFi clocked at 200 Mbps, perfect for streaming, remote work, or online learning.
LAUNDRY: Paid washer and dryer facilities are available for your use within the building. Washer and Dryer require $1.00 in quarters per load.
