Gorgeous, peaceful stay in lovely Mill Valley

Everything was perfect. The house provides everything one needs, and then some. Our stay was so comfortable and enjoyable. My family could not stop exclaiming about the high-quality mid-century modern design and decor--stunning. The photos do not do justice to this rental. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is beautifully decorated, and I must say that the pictures do not do it justice. We loved the many MCM/vintage pieces. It's also in a great location in a lovely neighborhood. We will definitely look to rent this home again whenever we return to the Mill Valley area.

Exceptional home and location

Our family of four adults headed to Mill Valley for a Celebration of Life for a friend who had lived just a short distance from this rental. We'd visited him from the East coast before and knew just how special MV is. The area is so soothing and relaxing...and this home takes full advantage of the natural surroundings and peaceful environment. Big windows let in dappled sunlight filtered by towering trees. It has everything you could want from an unbelievably well stocked kitchen to a variety of bathroom products I'd never seen provided in other rentals. The artwork and decorative items are amazing. The short easy walk into town makes it the perfect place to get a special cup of coffee in the morning or a delicious dinner in the evening without having to get in the car. But if you do have a car, there is off street parking right in front of the home...not something you'd find at many rentals in the area. If you don't do stairs, this might not be the home or town for you. They are everywhere! The property manager is a delight to deal with and communication is incredibly easy. I've already shared the link with friends who are planning a northern California get away! It's an A+ rental.

Beautiful; stylish, comfortable and fun!

This home is beautiful, stylish, comfortable and fun! We enjoyed feeling right at home while visiting our son and granddaughter in Belvedere. The artwork is a treat. Adrienne is an amazing concierge - very responsive and helpful with suggestions. The kitchen and house have everything you could possibly need. We're in our 70s but the two flights of stairs (with handrail) from the car to lower entrance were not a problem. Downtown Mill Valley is a short, level walk. Supermarkets are a short drive. We visited the city of SF twice where we strolled through the Union Square district, enjoyed SFMOMA, Pier 39, Aquarium of the Bay and had a superb dinner at Michelin-star Mr. Jiu's in Chinatown. Took a walk through Mill Valley's Bayfront Park. Wineries are an easy drive including Flowers in Healdsburg and Bogle in Clarksburg. We would love to stay here again. Thank you, Adrienne!

Our Return to The Shire

This was the perfect house for us as we returned to Mill Valley for our first visit since we moved away five years ago. We enjoyed relaxing each evening after visiting old friends, sites and restaurants. It truly felt like we were living in a treehouse. With luxurious amenities.

Fantastic Stay in Mill Valley

Really loved staying at this house. It's such a cute house and decorated in such a fun, eclectic way. Our two kids (13 and 11) love all of the "retro" touches in the house. The location was fantastic. Communication with the host was great and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this rental to others coming to the area.

Terrific house. Has lots of extras… heated floors (heavenly), steam shower, fancy coffee maker etc! To be honest we didn’t even turn on a TV other than in the kitchen. It was a lovely “tree house” to enjoy conversation and reading. Best part for us… the kitchen table. You will not be disappointed!!

Beautiful, Solid, House w/ Fun Vintage Decor

This is a gorgeous house: Very well built, with solid doors & windows, gorgeous stone tile in the bathrooms, vintage &/or mid-century inspired lighting and decor and fantastic original modern art pieces. Overall, it is a comfortable and very well appointed dwelling, with sunlight filtering in through the trees. We especially appreciated the radiant heated floors. Our only challenge was unlocking the outside doors. It took a few tries by several members of our family to finally get one of them unlocked upon our arrival. We were also unsuccessful in getting the bluetooth to work in order to stream music, but we ultimately didn't feel it was enough of an issue to contact the concierge about.

Wonderful art filled home

This is our go to house in Mill Valley. The location can't be beat and the overall energy of the home is comfortable yet posh with well appointed appliances and furniture and interesting art. It is a beautiful place to spend time.

Great experience, loved the house

This property was everything and more. We have stayed at other rental properties in the past and they all felt as such. This property really felt like a home with all kinds of little touches and amenities. It was very clean, well kept, had lots of towels and bedding if needed also. We really loved the kitchen, it had everything we needed to cook. It was perfectly located for our plans just north of San Francisco which made it easy to get into the city and relatively short drives to wine country and Muir Wood right near by. The service we got from the property manager, Adrienne, was top notch. Instructions were clear and she was always very responsive. We will definitely be looking to stay here again on future trips.

Lovely treehouse in magical Mill Valley

This house is truly special. We stayed for a few days to enjoy redwoods and easy access to the adorable town of Mill Valley and the Pacific. The house is spacious and lets in beautiful natural light. It is well-equipped too with a gorgeous kitchen, steam shower and washer-dryer. My partner and I enjoyed our stay immensely and will definitely be back.

Great Stay for Work Trip

I had to book a space for a small work gathering last minute. This property was perfect. It provided everything we needed with a nice mix of indoor/outdoor space and enough space for everyone to sleep. The property manager was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Family-friendly, elegant Mill Valley rental

A charming redwood shaded walk to downtown mill valley. Excellent coffee maker and truly beautiful light in this cozy custom home. Luxurious bathrooms with steam shower and deep tubs felt relaxing and fun for kids and adults. Great access to hiking trails. The property manager was extremely helpful and even left a note for baby and mom to get comfortable in a rocking chair. Such a warm welcome! highly recommend.

Mid Century Charmer

From the moment we arrived, we knew it was the perfect place to call home while visiting the bay area. The home was well appointed in every detail. From the spa like master bath with steam shower and towel warmer to the fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Our host Adrienne was absolutely the best. She was quick to respond to all our questions when booking it and checking in was a breeze after a long day of travelling. During our stay in Mill Valley.. Mother Nature decided to bless us with an atmospheric river (AKA known to us Floridians a tropical storm) but we felt safe and were thankful for the board games and cards to make the rainy day enjoyable. If you are planning a trip to San Francisco and bay area, we would highly recommend this home.
