Unser gemütliches Ferienhaus am Strand. Sie können über den Sand zum Ozean laufen. Es gibt einen ungehinderten Meerblick. aus dem Haus. Geschützte Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen, auf der Sie lesen und sich entspannen können, während Sie die Welt vorbeiziehen sehen. Oder besuchen Sie die vielen Surfer und lernen Sie surfen und Boogie-Boarding für Kinder im Ozean.
Unsere Einrichtung ist edel und kinderfreundlich. Kleine Kinder können direkt am Strand spielen. Sie sind in unserem privaten Strandgrundstück vor dem Wind geschützt.
Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit einem Weber BBQ auf der Terrasse und allem, was Sie benötigen, um in der kompakten Küche eine entspannte Mahlzeit zuzubereiten. Die Eltern können auf der Terrasse sitzen und die Kinder spielen am Strand.

Zu Fuß in die Stadt zu gehen, ist eines der Vergnügen unseres Standortes. Es ist ungefähr 10 Minuten zu Fuß am Strand entlang in die Stadt. Stinson Beach kann sonnig sein, während der Rest der Küste "beschlagen" ist, da hier ein wunderbares Mikroklima herrscht
Der Pazifik kann zum Schwimmen ziemlich kalt sein und die Surfer - die Sie vom Haus aus beobachten können - tragen fast immer Wetsuits. Boogie-Boarding ist ein Lieblingssport und viele furchtlose Surfer haben ihre Start Boogie Boarding in Stinson Beach bekommen. Boogie Boards und Neoprenanzüge können in der Stadt gemietet werden und gleich in unserer Straße gibt es einen Mietshop.
Die Stadt ist charmant mit schönen Restaurants und ein Kinderspielplatz mit Rutschen und Schaukeln. Wenn Sie zu einer Wanderung bereit sind, gibt es innerhalb von 5 Minuten wunderbare Wanderwege. Einer der bekanntesten ist die Dipsea Trail, die eine wunderbare Wanderung neben einem laufenden Bach, unter Mammutbäumen Höhepunkt in einem 10-Fuß-Leiter Aufstieg ist - wirklich atemberaubend. Am Strand gibt es zahlreiche Möglichkeiten zum Strandkämmen und Muschelsammeln. Wir sind auch nur eine kurze Autofahrt von der Weinregion entfernt und viele unserer Gäste nehmen während ihres Aufenthalts gerne einen Tag zur Weinprobe.
Von Stinson Beach ist es eine Autostunde nach San Francisco. Sie können auch mit der Fähre von Sausalito oder Larkspur aus in die Stadt fahren. Fähren fahren den ganzen Tag über und es ist eine schöne Art, über die Bucht zu fahren.

Stinson is our magical spot and we were so happy to find a cute BEACHFRONT property that is reasonably priced, walking distance to town and dog friendly. We love the master bedroom- can watch the waves while cozied up in bed.

Best location for a beach vacation

My husband and I had our son and granddaughter staying with us. The access to the beach right out our door was so perfect for my sand loving, wave hopping preschooler!The kitchen was sufficient for our meals that were prepared as we went. It is within walking distance to downtown Stinson, where we enjoyed latte’s and treats. My son was able to crab fish right out our front door, and we were thrilled to be able to enjoy the fruit of his labor. Perfect!

We had a great stay! Absolutely wonderful to be right on the beach.

Best Vacation Ever

We loved everything about our stay at this sweet beach house. It was perfect for our family of four and Angela was just as lovely as could be. Our two young sons were delighted to roll right out of the house on to the sand and my husband and I were in heaven every night falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing. We are already talking about making reservations for next year. Thank you Angela! We'll be back soon.

Sun, Sand, Surf & Serenity

My mother, sister, and I spent the weekend in this adorable cottage, which is directly ON the beach. The photo from the deck is not taken with some fancy photo lens. You step off the deck and you are ON the beach! We could not have asked for a more perfect setting. The front bedroom has an uninterrupted view of the ocean, and the back bedroom has a skylight making it light and bright. The living space was very comfortable and everything we needed was available. We were able to completely relax here and look forward to returning. Angela, the owner, was so kind and making the arrangements with her was effortless.

Only way to get closer to the water is to get wet!

Awesome, awesome, awesome location! The group of four of us returned after 3 nights last week - temperatures in the 70's, blue sky, absolutely beautiful! Lot's of time on the beach, frisbee throwing, picture taking, walking, etc. Porch was excellent - no matter the time of day. Hiked on Mt. Tam just behind the beach house. Couldn't have been a better location. Everything was great, will send the owner a couple suggestions that might help out, but would absolutely recommend this to anyone. Parking limited to 2 spaces (sorry Angela - and thanks!) We did eat at the Parkside Cafe - amazing food. A little pricey, but fresh, unique food.

Beach Front Charmer

This delightful oceanfront cottage is all you need for a tranquil and rejuvenating vacation. You wake and sleep with the sound of the waves from the bedroom nook (comfy double bed). A high table by the window is where you eat your meals or read a book if you don’t dine on the ample deck. The view from all these places is mesmerizing. There is a large sofa and chair in the main room for reading or watching TV. The house is on stilts in the sand and is just steps to the sea. There is a charming second room with two single beds. We stayed here during a windy few days and the location of this cottage was a life saver - it’s protected from the wind and has a private area of sand in the front where you can lie out or play beach games far from anyone else. It is a truly magical place and we have already booked our next stay. Thank you, Angela!

Absolute perfection

Our stay at Stinson Beach was incredible. Angela is such a gracious host, even coming out to meet us when we arrived very late the first night. It was wonderful having a dedicated parking spot as space is much in demand and the neighbors are quite protective. The home itself is a dream. The master bedroom, living room, and kitchen look out over the ocean and I felt myself soaking up the peace the entire time we were in the house. It literally could not be more oceanfront- at high tide, the water comes up under the raised deck. The beach is beautiful and very walkable, and our little dog was in heaven running around and chasing the waves with all the other sweet doggies. There is a library, two restaurants, and a small but well-stocked grocery store within walking distance. San Francisco is about 25 minutes away and a Napa Valley about one hour, so very easy to make day trips. The only consideration I’d give is if someone has extreme vertigo/fear of heights or has mobility challenges. The road to the cottage snakes up and down narrow, winding mountain roads and to access the home itself, it’s necessary to walk about 20 feet across the sand and then up two short flights of wooden stairs (~ten steps). I couldn’t imagine a lovelier, more perfectly mismatched, comfortable beach house and I’m a little embarrassed to admit I cried when we had to leave. We very much hope to return, and have two friends who are already planning stays there based on our raving!

Stranded with Zero Communication

Check-in process was a nightmare. First there are contradicting processes. In one place is says check-in is at 3pm, in another place it says 3:30. Whatever, no big deal we played it safe (so we though), arrived at 3:30 and that’s when the problems began. Doors locked, no key given. Reached out to host via chat, no reply. Called host via number provided, no answer, left voicemail, no reply. Called VRBO directly who attempted to also reach out the host. Once again, no answer, no reply. We are now close to 5pm (that’s right, 1.5 hours later) my wife and I said, screw it and decide just to head home. I was actually already walking away from the property when I noticed there was someone in the adjacent unit. Oh look, it is the host just going about her day. I got her attention by yelling out “ARE YOU THE HOST?” at which point she came out of her unit and handed us the keys. No apologies, no offers to make things right, nothing. Just gave us the key and went back in her home. It’s only saving grace is the location. I would have loved to be able to use this place for a future beach trip but I don’t think I want to deal with the uncertainty of actually being able to get into the property. I am not sure if the host just got home around 5pm because I only reason I looked into her unit was because the lights on when there were no lights on earlier. If I didn’t happen to look back at the property as I was walking away we would have had to make the multi-hour drive home.

Let’s start with the definition of a COTTAGE. According to Google: A cottage is a small, simple house, usually located in the countryside or away from a city.With this said, the description of this is WAY OFF. A cottage it is not!!!! It is 2 rooms with no doors, a TINY bathroom which was reduced to put in a small kitchenette, a lot of stairs you have to pull all your luggage and ice chest up and down as well as drag all of your stuff a minimum of 20 yards through deep sand. This is NOT a cottage. It’s connected to the main residence which shares a wall so there is NO privacy for you or from the home owners. You can hear them all night. The couch, chairs, tables, night stands and bedding are all stained and very dirty to the eye. The bathroom shower is 3ft X 3ft square and if you weigh more than me (135) and 5’7 then you can’t turn in a circle without the shower door opening. And on that note, the shower door only opens 16 inches because it hits the sink and I had to turn sideways to get out. It also took 20 minutes to get hot water and yes, that is also shared with the homeowner. Don’t let the views be the reason to stay here. There is NO private beach. They rope off some property but when their family or guest are there, it’s all theirs. To say the area is loud is an understatement. This place is sandwiched between 2 large homes which are also rentals and very loud. Personally, all of the good remarks on this place have to be done by family members or friends.

Amazing beach view

We came to California from Texas to enjoy the beach and some amazing hikes. We loved everything about the area. To stay on the beach and have the beautiful state park within minutes of us was amazing. Although we were a little concerned how four of us would share one bathroom, it wasn’t a problem at all. We were so grateful to find a place within our budget actually on the beach. The only thing that would have made the stay even better would have been better communication from the host. The second night we were there the smoke detector started beeping. We messaged the host for assistance but got no response. Thankfully, it took the same batteries as the tv remote and we just swapped them out and all was good. Overall a wonderful stay in a nice little home in a great location. We had a great time. Hope to be able to come back again someday.

Beautiful spot - very convenient.

We had a beautiful stay, it's so nice to sit on the deck and have such an uninterrupted view. You can easily walk to a really good bakery and a couple bars/restaurants. Kitchen and bath are very small but we were mostly so that did not matter - view from the Queen bed is outstanding. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfectly located for a friend getaway including my pup. Right on a dog friendly beach, it was convenient for daily walks to town for delicious treats. Hostess Angela was super responsive to an issue we had with the water heater and had it repaired the next day. I would love to return to this beachfront gateway

Incredible location - wonderful stay!

I have stayed in many properties over the years at Stinson Beach, and the location doesn’t get much better than this one. The view from the main bedroom is literally onto the surf breaking 30 yards away. Great little deck (on the beach). My son surfed right in front of the house and was “buzzed” by dolphins playing alongside him in the waves! Ideal for a family (2 adults, 2 kids), “small” inside but everything you need (including a log fire to snuggle up in front of in the evenings if the fog roles in). But who cares? You “live” on the beach and deck!!! Will definitely come back again!

Beach Front White Water View

Lovely spot to relax in right on the beach, views of varied beach acivies: walking, surfing, kites, jogging — and for surfers, you are right there! Park Side Cafe has really upgraded, superb bakery, excellent chef. Breakers Cafe also very good. Bookstore and library close at hand, and Mt. Tam is just across thge street with world class coastal view trails and redwoods. Stinson Beacch Market is well-stocked — including fresh vegetables — and has friendly staff members.

Although only 30 mins from Mill Valley it remains a refuge from the real world for all who come and stay. Owner is close by (next door) and available to answer questions or help to plan your outings. West Marin is such a special place and there's so much to do here, we feel very blessed to be able to share this amazing place.
