Beautiful Home!
We stayed in this lovely home when we traveled to Glendale to attend our son's graduation from GCU in April. The house was beautifully updated and very clean. Elite Vacation Rentals sent communications via text and email on a regular basis regarding the check-in and check-out process, inquiring on our second day if they could make our stay more comfortable. We were so busy I did not have time to respond! If I had the time to reply, I would have mentioned that there were no hand towels (only square washcloths) in the upstairs bathrooms, and no towels whatsoever in the bathroom on the main level. We remedied this easily by bringing down a washcloth from the upper level to dry our hands -- it was an odd oversight.Also, they advertise that this home sleeps 8. There were 3 beds and a pull out couch - 8 spots, technically. However, we could only find a spare set of sheets for the pull out, and no blanket for warmth or comfort. Again, just odd.In addition to this, the shower drains both ran very slowly and we found ourselves standing in 2-3 inches of accumulated water while showering. This was a minor inconvenience that we didn't have capacity to address during a busy week!The final disappointment was that the neighbors woke us all up every weekday morning at 4:30 a.m. when they revved up their diesel truck to go to work. While all this sounds terrible, the positives far outweighed the negatives. This was overall actually a very positive stay and we are grateful!
