We enjoyed a very relaxing week at Abalone Cabin. It was a very comfortable place to come back to while exploring the area. The kitchen was great for cooking meals and we loved reading and contemplating in the fireplace cabin. The view can’t be beat especially when the fog lifts.

We absolutely loved our stay the cabin! The view was breathtaking and the cabin was so cozy! It’s perfectly located between town and all of our favorite hiking trails. Check in and check out were both very easy and the host was kind and responsive. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to come explore the area!

The property was wonderful. Fantastic location right on the ocean! Kitchen was well stocked and house had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the separate entertainment cottage Great game room, read a book and enjoy a fire all while looking out over the ocean.

Great location. We hiked north and south of location. Of course, absolute stunning ocean view with breathtaking sunsets. We loved the adjacent family room with fireplace. We spent our evenings there.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin. It was an annual weekend of four women friends. The cabin was comfortable and we had everything we needed, plus an incredible view!We very much hope to stay here again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the most enjoyable stay at Trinidad.The house had everything that we needed plus a little bonus room (den) across from the main house. We were close to town and the Redwoods which is why we were in the area. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Trinidad.

Cute little cottage, good amenities, comfortable beds, but the most outstanding feature is the view and location. It is a perfect home base for Redwoods hikes. Close to town in Trinidad with restaurants, gas and a store. Nearby state parks like Sue-Meg and Trinidad point are also great visits in between Redwood hikes. The power went out briefly, which was a minor adventure since it’s an electric pump and well. But host was prepared with gallon water jugs and very responsive, and power was back on by the time we got back from the days hike. Overall, a beautiful and memorable spot for a family vacation!

Really cute property - I thought it was cozier than the photos portrayed. We never used the side building since it was just the two of us but it has a lot of space when you add that into the square feet. Loved the view - the fancy restaurant is two minutes away (make reservations).

This place is magic. The views over the oceans from every window are incredible. I love the cozy fireplace room. You can enjoy the beauty of the coast without evening leaving the cabin. I will definitely be coming back. The design and decor is also very charming and the beds were comfortable.

It would have been nice to have some whales out by the seastacks, and paper towels and a days worth of coffee on site. Other than those minor inconveniences, the stay was amazing and the view was priceless.

Whale watching is pretty special, sorry you didn't get to see any this time. I am sorry to hear there were not paper towels onsite as we do supply them and would have delivered them right away had you contacted us during your stay. I will notify our housekeeping staff to be sure this doesn't happen for future guests. I appreciate your suggestion about coffee. Will consider that suggestion. Hope you can come stay again.

The house was great, but really the entire area is fantastic- I had never seen the redwoods-wow, just wow! If you haven't seen them, go if you get the opportunity.
