The getaway you need is just a few clicks away! River Rock Cabin has been thoughtfully appointed and stocked for comfort so you can begin to unwind soon after arriving. After getting settled, grab a beverage and head to the back porch to admire the serene mountain view as you softly sway in the ultra relaxing porch swing.

The cabin comfortably accommodates 6 guests, but is also nicely sized for smaller groups and even couples wanting a little more room to spread out.

A shed on the property provides secure, animal-proof housing for trash and recycle containers.

Guest Access:
You will have full access to the entire cabin during your stay, except for one bathroom closet where supplies are stored. Keyless entry makes check in and checkout a breeze. Prior to check in, you will receive a pre-arrival message containing important check in information, including directions and an access code for the electronic deadbolt.

The Neighborhood:
The small hilltop development known as River Rock Cottages contains four homes and sits on a short dead-end road. The last two homes on the road include this cabin and another rental cabin owned by us.

A young family lives fulltime in the first home on the road. Their home is visible from parts of the property, less so in summer, but is far enough away to not compromise the feeling of privacy offered by River Rock's location.

Other Things to Note:
Our full set of policies can be found lower on the page, but here are a few important ones:
▪ Please provide the first and last names of all guests when submitting a booking, plus tell us a little something about your stay and what brings you to the area. We are careful about who we rent to and like to get to know our guests.
▪ All guests must be 25 years of age or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian (we check this when in doubt).
▪ Check in is 4pm or later, checkout is by 10am.
▪ No smoking inside or out.
▪ One dog up to 30 pounds is allowed for a $75 length of stay fee.

Interaction with Guests:
We live 15 minutes from the cabin and will be your point of contact up to and throughout your stay. We share with booked guests our best contact number for calling and messaging, or we can be reached through Airbnb messaging as well.

A link to our digital house and guest manual will be provided after booking and also in the cabin. It contains information about amenities, important phone numbers, checkout procedures, etc. plus a guidebook with recommendations for local dining, shopping, attractions, activities and more!

We enjoyed an amazing week in this mountain retreat. The house is absolutely beautiful. The scenery is stunning. We enjoyed seeing deer, lots of birds and a bonus of seeing two native white squirrels. There are plenty of opportunities to explore lovely places near by. We purchased this cottage for many reasons. One being its condition - nearly brand new - and the level of quality of its construction. The builder is one of the best in the area. We also love its location. The cottage is so close to so many cool towns, activities and attractions. Literally, head out in any direction from the cottage and you will find so much to do, and just minutes away!

We also like that the cottage is less than a half-mile to US-64, which is a main route through the area. We're happy, and we think our guests will be to, that time is not wasted traveling gravel, narrow and winding roads to reach it. We're also excited the future Ecusta Trail will pass just below the cottage. The ET is an old railroad bed being converted to a multi-use trail that will connect the towns of Hendersonville and Brevard.
