Wir haben gerade die Kabine umgebaut und aktualisiert. Wir haben unseren Platz auf VRBO / HomeAway für 10 Jahre gemietet, haben ihn jedoch vom Markt genommen, als unsere Tochter und ihr Ehemann in die Gegend gezogen sind. Sie sind jetzt weitergezogen und wir haben gerade ein umfangreiches Remodel / Update auf dem Grundstück abgeschlossen. Neuer Geschirrspüler, neues Bad, neue Möbel und die Holzböden wurden aufbereitet, und vieles mehr! Wir haben eine Feuerstelle für Sie hinzugefügt. Wir stellen sogar das Brennholz zur Verfügung! Wir haben auch einen Whirlpool hinzugefügt! Sehr privat und versteckt auf einem eigenen Gelände in einer kleinen Berggegend, sind Sie immer noch ganz in der Nähe von Hendersonville, Brevard und Asheville, alle innerhalb einer 25-minütigen Fahrt oder weniger. Genießen Sie das schöne Biltmore House oder den Grandfather Mountain, den Chimney Rock in Lake Lure oder die vielen Dutzende Wasserfälle im schönen Transylvania County. Wir sind umgeben von den Blue Ridge Mountains und dem Pisgah National Forest. Oder erkunden Sie einfach die Innenstadt von Asheville, die jetzt zu fast 30 Mikrobrauereien gehört. Cabin Retreat

The owners made this an easy time for a two night stay. The house was well equipped and we wanted for nothing except ice.The neighborhood was quiet, wooded and peaceful. The fire pit is situated in the front yard and there was plenty of firewood!We didn't have time to use the hot tub! The house is decorated so cute with a rustic design. The bed was super comfy. We would highly recommend this location if you are looking to get out of the rat race of the city as we were trying to do. (No icemaker

Peaceful little cabin!

Such a cute and cozy cabin in the woods! We saw a turkey, deer and lots of other wildlife. Great getaway just far enough from the city, but still close enough to all the local attractions. Asheville is still in recovery mode, but Hendersonville was such a cute town with lots of cool shops and restaurants. Hot tub was relaxing and we enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks for having us!

Wonderful location

This was a great location and just what we were looking for. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues and Hugh was easy to communicate with and issues were fixed in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this location to others as it was a perfect homebase for all our activities and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Anniversary get away

Our stay in Mills River was fantastic! The property was clean, private, and offered a peaceful retreat. Its the perfect location to be able to enjoy Asheville, Hendersonville, and the waterfalls in Mills River. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi after a full day of exploring the area. Communication with the owner was seamless, making our stay stress-free. The cabin is decorated very cute with a nice cabin feel. If you're in the area, be sure to check out The Salty Landing—their food was delicious with great hospitality! We also loved visiting Bold Rock Mills River Cidery, where we enjoyed live music, amazing smoked wings, and great drinks. We will definitely be back!

Property is in a great location, convenient to everywhere. Very comfortable and clean, a little TLC outside as far as cleaning the yard and deck would go a long way. The wood stove gave off a very strong firepit odor that was a little offensive but that was by far my biggest complaint. Overall it. Was a great experience.

Private, wonderful little spot for a getaway!

We came here for our 5 year anniversary. It was such a great place to stay. I loved the privacy. Hugh was a pleasure to communicate with. It has everything you need for cooking and little toiletry items. I would highly recommended this cozy cabin to anyone wanting to get away for a bit!

Cute, private cabin yet close to amenities

Great private location with a great mountain feel yet close to amenities. Having both a hot tub and a firepit in such a private location was great. A few of the appliances were at end of life and the second bedroom is probably most suited for kids but still worked as a second room for an additional adult. Would definitely stay here again.

This cabin in the mountains was everything we were looking for. Everything from the furnished kitchen to the awesome hot tub! Communication with the owner was great. The cabin was everything described and more! Very clean, cute cookware, and pretty dishes! The hot tub was clean and private, very nice and exactly what I had wanted! I would stay again in a heartbeat! I wasn't expecting the adjustable bed... bonus!!! My boyfriend would have liked a firmer mattress, but it was perfect for me!!

Perfect Spring Break Getaway!

Really enjoyed this cabin for our week long spring break vacation. Mills River had plenty to do that was nice and close and we enjoyed the day at the Cabin for Easter. Cabin had everything we needed and our boys loved having yard space with trees and a creek! It was sunny and warm the first half of our stay but we realky enjoyed the wood stove and hot tub once it cooled down. Played a few of the board games on hand and really had a nice time together as a family. Would definitely visit again!

Great cabin!

We stayed for a weekend, and the cabin was clean and well-kept. The hot tub was so nice! We saw deer and the stars were bright and beautiful in this quiet area. Communication was easy with the owners. Just to know though- the road up the mountain to it is very narrow and steep.

Seclusion. On any given day you will have 5-10 deer walk through your front yard. The Brevard area which is 15 minutes away is home of the white squirrels and abundant waterfalls. . We have a family of white squirrels on the mountain. Be on the lookout while you are here. Wild turkey abound all over the mountain. All of this and you still can be to the grocery store or airport in less than 10 minutes...
