Quiet Kent Hill Home, 20 Min to Sea-Tac — Fireplaces, Jetted Tub, Fast WiFi

Welcome to our quiet home on a dead-end street on Kent's Scenic Hill — a 15–20 minute walk to Kent Station (note: steep hills on the route), about 20 minutes to Sea-Tac Airport, and 25 minutes to Seattle or Tacoma. ShoWare Center and major malls are within 5–10 miles.

The space: a spacious 2,600 sq ft home with a master suite featuring a walk-in closet, fireplace, 70" smart TV, and jetted tub. Three flat-screen TVs total with local antenna programming and HDMI inputs for your own devices (log in to Netflix or Prime with your own subscription). Alexa devices in several rooms for music and home info — turn them off during your stay if you prefer, just let us know so we can re-enable them after checkout.

Outdoors: patio, deck, lawn, firepit, and outdoor furniture, plus two seasonal water fountains (best in summer; may be off in fall/winter/spring). The yard can be slippery when wet — please use caution. Fire pit and charcoal BBQ with utensils for outdoor evenings. Patio furniture is seasonal and may show weather wear — use at your discretion.

Kitchen & laundry: full kitchen with island and dining for 6, coffee maker and grinder (we provide assorted teas — please bring your own coffee), dishwasher, washer/dryer, and all linens and starter toiletries. Full coffee bar for your mornings (please don't boil water in the coffee pots — there's a kettle for hot water). Please use the provided recycling bins for recycling.

Work-ready: free WiFi (140 Mbps) with ethernet ports in most rooms, plus a desk, chair, and monitor.

Climate: central AC and heat plus a 24K BTU AC in the master (warmest room, above the garage). Please keep both Nest thermostats at 75°F or below. Fans in every room. Tip: for the hottest showers, mornings are best — the large home's water heater recovers slowly, especially in winter.

Families: baby crib, high chair, and kids' books and toys available. The house is not baby-proofed — please supervise children closely and check that all baby gear is secure before use.

Guest access: all areas except the garage, crawl spaces, attics, and cabinets marked Private/Admin Only.

Check-in: front-door code is the last 4 digits of your booking phone number, active from check-in time on arrival day, expiring at noon on checkout day. Please lock up when you leave, and reset the water heater to vacation mode at checkout. Check-in after 3:00 PM, checkout before 12:00 PM.

Good to know: we use high-quality cleaners and take cleaning seriously. Because we're in a wooded area, you may occasionally spot a small insect despite regular spraying — it doesn't reflect the cleanliness of the home. If anything isn't right, message us and we'll make it right. Free parking for 6 cars on the driveway plus free street parking nearby.

Security: professionally monitored alarm with smoke and CO detectors throughout. Please don't remove batteries or disable sensors — alert us by message and phone if one sounds.
