Thank you, for your review, Joanne. Since your stay, we’ve hired a different cleaner for the house. When we purchased this rental, the previous owners had a cleaner in place, and we kept them on as a courtesy. After your stay, we have let them go and we are using the cleaning crew that we’ve been using for all our other rentals, for years. They’re the best! Hope you’ll visit us again in the future.

Hi Wendy, thank you for submitting your review and for choosing our home for your stay. The listing stating there are 3 half baths is a VRBO glitch, I only have 3 bathrooms selected on the spaces section of the listing, no half baths. I will be calling VRBO to correct that immediately, thank you for pointing that out to me! Sorry about the appearance of the pool in the yard. The good news is recently took that down because we are adding a larger deck that will connect to a larger pool beginning sometime in May. We began construction on the new deck addition right after your stay. I apologize for the door handle and hot water problem, I will address that immediately with our maintenance person. We have a maintenance man on standby, who was listed in the check in instructions, should you or any of our guests discover maintenance issues during their stay (such as the door handle or sink not working). To my knowledge, he was not contacted. We are prepared to correct any maintenance issues promptly, but they must be reported, as stated in our rental agreement and check in instructions. We have multiple rentals on LBI, in Pennsylvania and even Costa Rica, and occasionally we miss some things, however we pride ourselves on remedying problems quickly. We hope your stay was otherwise enjoyable, and you will give us an opportunity to host you and your family in the future, at this home or one of our other rentals.
