The home is very close to West Jefferson, NC and a grocery store. It is well kept, comfortable, and the kitchen is nicely stocked, including paper products. We loved the views, the decorated Christmas Tree and fire pit! We look forward to going back for another stay.

This was our second time staying at The Honey bear cabin and will stay again without hesitation. The cabin is in a perfect location and in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to town. The host has made every effort for their guest’s comfort including a well stocked kitchen, bathrooms and nice linens. Beds are comfortable. The cabin was very clean and smelled fresh. In fact they had decorated for Christmas, so that was such a pleasant surprise and we enjoyed the festive lights each night. If you’re looking for a lovely, clean, and well maintained cabin this is it! Book the Honey bear!

Linda was very responsive. The cabin was perfect with many extras including Christmas decorations, robes and slippers. The location is close to town but still feels quiet and natural. The property is as described. This was our best VRBO experience!

Secluded but convenient

A quiet mid-September weekend. The cabin backs-up to Mt Jefferson State Park and feels farther away than it is. Within minutes of West Jefferson and any type of shopping you need. Very comfortable place for a small family or reunion of friends.

Great West Jefferson Rental

The house was comfortable, clean and the kitchen was well-equipped. Nice porches for just hanging around on and the wooded lot was beautiful. Conveniently located near downtown West Jefferson and grocery stores. Very nice place to stay!

This Cabin is great We stayed 4 nights It is about 2 miles outside of West Jefferson located in quiet little neighborhood with easy access also there is Walmart , DollarTree and Lowe’s within a mile we enjoyed the deer that walked around the cabin as many as 12 This was our second time staying and will again if available Thanks Randy and Pat

The cabin was beautiful, very clean & nicely decorated. The kitchen & bathrooms had everything that we needed. I wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights. My husband wished there had been a fire pit, but we enjoyed sitting on the deck. It’s a beautiful property.

DEFINITELY BOOK THIS CABIN!

I can’t say enough good things about this cabin. It was so clean. It was in a beautiful little neighborhood that felt very private but was less than a mile from Walmart, Wendy’s and other businesses. Linda thought of everything! There’s plenty of soap, toilet tissue, paper towels, towels, blankets, etc. She really does provide coffee, tea, bottled water, condiments, and snacks. The check out process can’t even really be called a process. I was thrilled and will definitely stay there again. You’d be crazy not to book this cabin.

Peaceful yet close to town

We had a wonderful relaxing time. Very well stocked with everything you need. The beds extremely comfortable. The cleanliness of the cabin is superior. The location is excellent. Jefferson national park is just a few minutes away -amazing views and hiking. Downtown West Jefferson also minutes away. Great communication with host. Honey Bear is a Sweet Retreat

Totally satisfying weekend retreat. Great communication, great accommodations, good location. This cabin is perfect size for 2 couples or a family vacation. Cabin was very orderly, clean, and comfortable. If I had one suggestion, it would be some cushions for the chairs on the front deck. It rained during our first night and it made the chairs kinda unusable for the morning cup of coffee sitting outside. Did see 2 deer while sitting on the back porch one morning, while reading my devotional. Not 20-25 yards from the porch.
