Welcome to Blessed Way Escape!

Blessed Way Escape is a 2BR/2.5BA cozy cabin located in a very private setting near West Jefferson. The cabin has soaring ceilings, a fireplace, TVs in bedrooms, a back deck with a large hot tub, and a rare find in the mountains is a large, grassy yard suitable for all manner of yard games, tossing a frisbee, or enjoying a campfire and roasting marshmallows.

The master bedroom and bath are on the main level and feature a king bed. Upstairs you will find a cozy queen-sized sleeping area, sloped ceilings, and a bathroom next to the bedroom. The couch on the lower level pulls out to make a full bed increasing the sleeping capacity to 6.

The Town of West Jefferson, known for its many art galleries, interesting shops, and dining, is less than 10 minutes away. Mount Jefferson State Park and the New River for canoeing, tubing and fishing are also close, within 15 minutes. The town of Boone is 25 minutes away.

Allows pets with an additional fee.

Please be aware that Blessed Way is a gravel road. The owners and the neighbors have requested that only 4-wheel drive or AWD vehicles be used to access the property. Take this into consideration before booking.

Amazing experience!

This property is amazing. Very beautiful location, property manager is very responsive and very helpful with things such as trash pick ups and we even extended our stay here. Always had an email response and they kept me very informed though-out our entire stay. Highly recommended this property. We have stayed in several properties in the area for hurricane cleanup and this has by far been the best experience with property management that we have had. Thank you for an amazing experience! Can’t wait to stay with them in the future!

Weekend getaway

We love West Jefferson and my husband loves to attend Saloon Studios Live. We chose this house due to the proximity to the venue. It was a great choice! Beautiful and comfortable home, well decorated and stocked kitchen. If you want seclusion, there is a house next door with the a gate in front of the driveway. It didn’t bother us, the homeowner waved as they came and went. We will definitely book again!

Adorable cabin

The staff communication was exceptional. The hot tub needed water added and they came out right away. This was our first experience renting with them and we were very pleased with their attention to detail. The cabin is so much more than it appears. It’s fairly private and a safe and quiet area on a private road. We saw deer and had snow which was wonderful. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We look forward to coming back to this area and staying here again!

Property made us sick

The cabin and facilities are just fine. Location is good. The longer we stayed, the more sick me and my wife got. It could have been related to the fireplace, but we don't know. We left a day early due to sickness. Still have lingering effects now that we are home, but only slowly improving.

We hate to hear that you fell sick. Is it possible that you may have contracted a virus? To blindly say it was the home is a bit misleading to say the least. We Hosted dozens of reservations prior to your arrival and many since you left and nothing was ever reported. Accurate reviews are an invaluable tool both to the host as well as to the traveler. Regrettably this review failed both the host as well as any future traveler.

Fantastic weekend getaway

The property was just as described, and better! Very clean & stocked with virtually everything you might want/need for your stay. The property managers were very responsive to my questions in advance of our stay. I am looking forward to staying again, but hopefully for a longer so that I can explore the surrounding areas more!

The cabin is lovely, offering privacy in a serene setting.

The property is lovely. The grounds compliment the the design and style of the cabin. All the rooms are tastefully appointed, and each room is spacious and inviting. There are issues that require attention in order to further enhance the overall impression of the property. First, there should be a notebook containing information for operating appliances, TV's, gas fireplace, etc. While there is a satellite dish on the cabin, we could only access Firestick programs such as Netflix Prime Video, Roku, etc. Storing corn hole boards and other outdoor games on the front porch is a turn-off. Even a wooden storage box on the front porch would look better. The back deck where the hot tub, grill, etc. are located needs a clean up. Not attractive at all. Lastly, the kitchen can use more attention to detail from cleaning personnel. The spigot in the kitchen sink was caked in mold, as is the interior of the kitchen trash can. I thoroughly cleaned the spigot, but the trash can needs attention.

Thanksgiving getaway

Lovely home on a quiet piece of property. Outdoor area with yard, fire pit, grill, and hot tub were all enjoyable. The home was beautiful and clean. Fireplace, washer/dryer, 3 TVs, and new kitchen were perfect for a quiet family Thanksgiving. Short scenic hikes at Mt. Jefferson a short drive away and easy drive to App State. Grocery store with Starbucks + lots of fast food options are close if needed. Located on a quiet country road with minimal car traffic. Loft bedroom was awesome for teens. Highly recommend for a quiet family stay.

Great location for a quiet getaway

We came to the area to do some local hiking. The cabin was perfectly located! Close to downtown West Jefferson, but secluded enough to give us some peace and quiet at the end of the day. Everything was clean and exactly as described.

Great cabin

Loved the cabin overall and would stay here again. Very clean roomy, and in a great area. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit 2 nights. My only recommendation would be to replace the king mattress or add firm mattress topper - bed sunk in the middle. Also - yard wasn’t picturesque as shown - grass needed to be mowed and lots of weeds. But still would recommend this cabin! Thank you!
