West Jefferson, NC - Das Absolute High liegt auf einem Berghang in einer Höhe von 400 Metern und bietet einen herrlichen Panoramablick, der Ihnen den Atem rauben wird. Ab dem Zeitpunkt Ihrer Ankunft werden Sie sich sicher wie zu Hause fühlen. Im Wohnbereich finden Sie einen Steinkamin mit Gasstämmen. Hier können Sie sich an einer kühlen Nacht in Carolina Mountain entspannen.

Die Küche, der Ess- und der Wohnbereich sind alle offen, sodass der Koch keine Minute des Spaßes verpassen wird. Die Küche ist zum Kochen gut ausgestattet. 2 Schlafzimmer befinden sich im Obergeschoss und teilen sich ein Vollbad. Eines bietet ein Queensize-Bett, während das andere 2 Einzelbetten bietet. Auf der Hauptebene befindet sich die Master-Suite, die über ein Queensize-Bett und ein Bad mit Whirlpool und eine ebenerdige Dusche verfügt. Satellitenfernseher mit lokalen Kanälen und das ESPN-Paket sind auf dem Flachbildfernseher im Wohnbereich verfügbar.

The perfect Christmas cabin

We arrived to snow! The house is located at the top of the mountain and there are gorgeous views from the top of the driveway to the mountains on one side and another expansive, gorgeous view of the mountains and valley stretching out behind the house from the back windows and porches. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. Everything was super clean and comfortable and it was the perfect holiday retreat.

Great place!

We had a wonderful stay at Absolute High. Small glitch with the fireplace so be sure to ask if gas has been delivered if looking to rent soon. Otherwise, nothing but great things to say-well stocked-very clean and cozy. Would definitely rent here again.

Lovely Cabin and Beautiful View

We loved the location and the cabin was well stocked and very nicely decorated. They had put out fall decorations which made it feel so homey. The view from the decks are incredible. The neighborhood is full of deer and we enjoyed seeing them on morning walks with our dog. We had an issue logging in on the TV, but the management company was quick to respond and resolve the issue. Hope to visit again soon!

Excellent location and access to town. Beautiful home! Beautiful view! Very satisfied with that but the house was not clean. There were dead huge flies all over the floor in the living room. There was black animal hair in the tub down stairs. The bedroom upstairs with queen bed had large flies flying around window. At one time I counted 20. Biggest flies I ever saw. Whoever cleans for you does not do a good job.

Reviewer Comments: Our stay was excellent! The views were everything to have coffee in the morning and cocktails at night. We saw deer below the deck almost every day. There was a Gray Hawk that flew by several times. We put up a humming bird and had hummers in 15 minutes. It was also a treat to see the US Air Force F-16s fly by below the mountains. We are planning our next visit.

Great Views, Cottage and Location

The cottage was very clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well furnished, but a little cozy for larger groups. Full disclosure, we were there for Thanksgiving and there were 4 Master Chefs (in our own minds) trying to prepare the dinner at the same time (LOL). Anyway... we had a wonderful time, the cabin was lovely, everything in the cabin worked and we had a wonderful time. We would definitely recommend this cabin for a relaxing, comfortable getaway, with wonderful views. and quiet relaxation.

We were very disappointed that they did not have the pilot light on the fireplace lite and no gas for the fireplace . We did read after we got there the fireplace was not turned on until 10-1 OK we checked in 9-30 . They couldn’t have handled that before we arrived?? We called the management company and LM. After 5 hours of not hearing from them, we called back..

Great views

The cabin had great views and was short drive to the town. Overall the stay great, the basement area was mostly unusable because of how cold it was so I would request a space heater. The doors are also difficult to open and lock. Other than those minor inconveniences, the place was nice. Would recommend.

The location was perfect - close to hiking and 5 minutes from groceries and town. The downside to us was that the "hot tub" was not actually a hot tub but a jetted bathtub. Our family was really looking forward to a family soak in a hot tub, but this was not possible with the set up. All in all it was a great set up for a few days away.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I rented this home on a whim to just get away and rest. This home provided just want we needed to relax. Unfortunately the weather spoiled our ability to sit on the deck and enjoy the lovely view in the comfy rockers.The gas fireplace was great. Home was very convenient to downtown West Jefferson. We went midweek and found many of the stores and downtown restaurants were closed for various reasons. I believe winter and mid week is a time for renovation and closures for many.But we were fine to cook at the house. But if shopping or eating out is a priority for the renter I would suggest going on the weekend.
