A local Mexican cook service is included Monday through Saturday, excluding the arrival night, last-day breakfast, and Sundays. Grocery costs and shopping fees are not included.

Casa Azanik is a place for friends and families to enjoy and connect with nature in the highly coveted northernmost part of the bay. The villa has a grounding effect upon arrival, thanks to natural and traditional materials like wood and stone.

Its contemporary design features clean and elegant lines, high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, and windows for stunning views from sunrise to sundown.

Casa Azanik's design offers guests the best of Half Moon Bay in Akumal. It's an easy walk to Yal-Ku Lagoon and Akumal restaurants like La Lunita, The Buena Vida, and The Jungle Café. It is right on Half Moon Bay, where snorkeling is just steps away. The house has opened to create an easy flow between interior and exterior spaces. There is an outdoor dining table and an indoor dining area. When open, these areas flow together like one space.

Guests enjoy an oceanside swimming pool with lounge chairs and a rooftop plunge pool. The beachfront swimming pool has a heater for guests, available upon request. (We recommend this for our winter guests). Casa Azanik's beach offers easy access for a swim or snorkel and has shaded beach beds for guests to sunbathe. Kayaks and stand-up paddle boards are also available for guests to enjoy their time on the bay.

Casa Azanik works perfectly for groups of adults or couples, but if the kids are coming too, this house can sleep up to 10 adults and 10 children. If this interests you, please get in touch for more information on extra person fees and available bedding.

Our stay was wonderful for our family of 13, lots of room, plenty of comfortable beds & amenities. Communication was excellent, we were sent a link for an instruction package containing all the information that we needed for a smooth, check-in, house rules, contact info etc. Both Alex our concierge and Rhett the house manager, were fast to respond to any questions or requests.They arranged for flowers for a Birthday, stocked the fridge for our arrival and coordinated breakfasts, and dinners with the house chefs.The house was WELL stocked with enough chairs and table service for all the guests. The patio is marvelous for relaxing in the shade while outdoors giving us a great ocean view. The pool was perfect for all, but especially for the 2 yr old with its shallow ledges. Spacious outdoor area meant the kids could toss a ball, volleyball and kick a soccer ball. We had enough room for the family OLYMPIC 3 legged race!!! Paddle boards, kayaks, individual balconies. Can't say enough about a home that facilitated GREAT memories.The instructions indicated a white wall with house name in blue letters....The blue letters are not there. We found it anyway.

We recently stayed at this home in Akumal and truly enjoyed certain aspects of the property. The private pool and direct beach access were outstanding and easily the highlight of our stay — the setting is beautiful and extremely convenient for a relaxing vacation.However, the condition of the house did not reflect the listing photos. The home felt worn, and the kitchen in particular was much less nice than the pictures suggested, which was disappointing given our expectations.While the concierge and house manager were very helpful and responsive, the on-site staff experience was unfortunately below expectations. The two cooks were disengaged and inattentive to guest needs, spending noticeable time on their phones and smoking in the lower level of the house.There is a sixth bedroom on that lower level (which we did not need to use), but anyone planning to should be aware that the area strongly smelled of cigarette smoke.Overall, the location and outdoor amenities are excellent, but the home’s condition and staffing would need improvement to fully match what is advertised.

Great Stay at Casa Azanik

House was very clean and well stocked. Maria and Carlos did a wonderful job cooking breakfast and a few dinners for us. The neighborhood was very nice with a few restaurants in walking distance. Would definitely stay there again in the future.

The perfect get away!

I highly recommend Casa Azanik. We had a party of 7 family members, but we could have accommodated so many more. The booking process was extremely efficient, and the concierge helped us book shuttles and activities. The manager and the daily caretakers helped us navigate Akumal wonderfully. Although we did eat at some local restaurants, our favorite meals were the ones prepared for us at the villa. The pool area right on the beach made snorkeling, kayaking, and relaxing in the pool and the ocean seamless. The house more than lived up to the pictures and had everything we needed. I highly recommend it. We look forward to returning!

Amazing couples trip!

We stayed here with 4 couples and the home and location were absolutely incredible! The property owner and manager were very helpful and easy to communicate with. The home was immaculate and had everything you could need. The pool, hot tub and beach were stunning and so fun. There are many fun restaurants within walking distance. The housekeeping staff was awesome. They kept the house looking perfect and even did laundry for us. Overall it was the perfect couples trip. So relaxing and beautiful! Thank you!

We rented a golf cart so it made getting to the places that were a little further very convenient. Snorkeling, paddle boarding and kayaking from our backyard was amazing. The management team was very responsive to all of our questions and requests. It was about 1.5 hrs from the Cancún airport and 2.5 hrs to Chichén Itzá (would definitely recommend this excursion). We would absolutely stay here again!

We had a group of. 10 for a birthday celebration and it was perfect. Guests loved that each room had their own en suite. The entertaining areas were great to have a sit down dinner or hang out outside around pool! We enjoyed pool and rooftop hot tub every day and night! The kitchen is equipped with all your needs to cool in or have chef come on and prepare your meals! The daily staff was so friendly and accommodating to our morning hours. Lastly the managment company was so helpful with all our excursions or anything I needed. We just loved our stay and can’t wait to go back!

Fun House in Half Moon Bay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is big enough for 14 people, we only had 7. We had plenty of space for 7 adults not to bump into each other. The house staff cooked several meals for us and all the meals were delicious.The house ran out of gas so one breakfast was cooked on a hot plate and was slow to deliver. The water pump broke and we were without water for a day. The staff worked diligently to get it fixed but it was still inconvenient. The spa was dirty and was hard to get it to work, we never used it because of this. Not what I would expect for the price we paid. Overall, it was a good house, overpriced for 7 people, better if you can fill it up to make the price per person reasonable.Things break and we understand that, running out of gas should not have happened for that kind of money.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our time at Casa Azanik. The house was beautiful and served our group of 6 women well. There were a few small maintenance issues- broken sliding door screens, musty-smelling 1st-floor bedroom (we decided to share rooms rather than have someone stay down there) but overall the house is lovely and comfortable. The staff was phenomenal! Maria and Carlos (our delightful chefs) made us fabulous meals and were kind, friendly, and fun. They made the trip! The house manager Rhett made us feel very welcome, gave us great local intel, and was always available to answer questions or help us problem-solve. We felt very safe in the neighborhood (right down the street from the National Guard base) and Ernesto the night watchman always ensured things were ok. The groundskeeper kept things tidy and the pool was cleaned every day. The only downer was the so-called concierge service. We worked with David to plan trips well in advance so we wouldn't have to mess with it while on vacation. The first day our tour company just didn't show up. We had to make our own arrangements to get to Tulum. They did refund our money, but it was a pain and frustrating! Other issues with other tours required a significant amount of time to rectify, NOT what we wanted to spend our time on, especially since we thought we had settled everything well in advance. Overall, we loved this vacation, the house, the staff, and the location, and would come back again. We just won't use the concierge service through Akamal Direct and would book things on our own when we got there.

Perfect Beach Escape

(All adults) Right away upon arrival, Maria, Carina, Edgar and Samuel were very welcoming, letting us know they had prepared the house for us.Seriously, not a bad word to say about our entire stay. Staff was exceptional. Maria even helped us find local things like rides and massage therapist and even helped us find the BEST tacos al pastor in downtown Akumal. There was a young man who was night staff too (whose name I didn’t catch) but he was very kind, helpful and respectful of our space. Overall, Amazing staff!!!!The whole house was great for a group. Big enough for us all to spread out and have privacy but gather in communal spaces for togetherness. We didn’t have kids with but I’m a mom of 3 and it had lots of great touches for families too. The kitchen was stocked perfectly with dishes and utensils. (The insulated cups to use were MUCH appreciated in the July heat) The bedrooms and bathrooms were all spotless, the common spaces were beautifully designed and great for a group. And the number one FAVORITE thing was the pool and beach. The pool and view of half moon bay from it was FABULOUS!! Very private feeling. The day bed on the beach was used for many naps and relaxing moments with the sound of the waves. We even had a sea turtle visitor that would come up nightly to dig her nest. One night getting herself stuck in the neighboring pool of a house under construction. We informed Maria and local turtle rescue groups and we all worked together to get her back into the ocean safely. It was a great trip and I highly recommend this house to anyone thinking about renting it. It was a perfect Akumal beach retreat. We feel so lucky that we got able to stay here and appreciate the space being available to us 💜
