Regarding the location, while our property is indeed a bit secluded, it's just a 20-minute drive from the nearest town. We thank you for your comments and will immediately address the sink handle, as well as a couple of fixtures that need replacing. Although they are small imperfections, we strive to offer a perfect property for our guests. Concerning the use of the air conditioning in the main areas, they are shut down when not in use, making sure our guests rest comfortably by providing individual air conditioner units in every suite. We believe this measure helps lessen the impact on the environment. But if requested, air conditioners in the main areas can be kept turned on. Although August and September are sargassum season, we make sure the beach is always kept clean every day, and normally this would not affect the enjoyment of your stay, but as we informed you, this was a very unusual occurrence both in quantity and duration. It is worth mentioning that since your departure, the sargassum outbreak has begun to clear. Even though we can't control or predict the sargassum outbreaks, we offered alternatives and tried to work on a solution. Unfortunately, a 50% refund request on the last day of your stay seems excessive after enjoying 9 days at the property. You stated that "this property is not what it appears to be" when, in fact, it is. We are distressed by the fact that you didn't enjoy the bay as all of our many guests have throughout the years and invite you and your family back. I remain at your disposal Regards Jorge
