Lacrosse tournament weekend

Very clean, perfect for a family of five in town for a lacrosse tournament. Location of the property was ideal as it was on the beach and only five minutes to the fields. Highly recommend.

Condo at Summer Place

The condo was beautiful. It was listed as 3 bedrooms and I didn’t agree with that. The third so called bedroom was just big enough for bunk beds and a night stand with no closet. The floor was dirty so I had to mop the whole condo after we got there.

Just what we needed.

We enjoyed our stay. We only had a couple snags. The showers did not have water pressure. We spoke to the person downstairs and within minutes it was taken care of by maintenance. The view was amazing. We watched Dolphins out our window and we were above the pool but far enough, that the noise from the pool Was not an Issue. We are now looking into a unit with four bedrooms so that we can take our grandkids with us next time. The kitchen was very well stocked. We were so happy to have a clean organized well-maintained Beautiful condo to stay in.

I bought a fifth of Gentlemen Jack at Ft Jackson because it had the US Navy emblem etched on it. Somehow on the trip to Ft Walton Beach the bottle broke, I was so disappointed. I told Corey and Angie the story when we checked in Thursday. Today they asked me to come down to the front desk. They got me a handle of Gentleman Jack and Angie etched the US Navy emblem on it for me!!!! I can’t believe they did that for me!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Wonderful beach retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time in 604! The unit was very clean, everything was updated and decor was tastefully beachy. We had no issues at all with our unit and we really enjoyed our time spent there. The summer place itself was well taken care of, the maintenance crew was always working and keeping things tidy. The pools were clean and wonderful. There is a communal pool/sand toy box that we were able to leave some sand toys and some pool noodles that we wouldn’t bring back on our flight home. The kids loved spotting the “house” cats, Bonnie, Clyde, and Dog. They were so cute! The unit was very well stocked and we were able to use the pack n play available, it is nice and clean (we brought our own waterproof sheets for the pack n play). The coffee pot was overly complicated for what it needed to do, but we figured it out eventually! Our only issue was with the beach chairs. We let the set up guy know that we were there for a week in 604 and that we’d like the beach chairs set up each day for us. Every single day we’d have to ask him to set up, and when I asked why others were set up and reserved but ours couldn’t be, he said it’s first come first serve... despite me watching him set up the chairs with a reserved tag every morning and no one coming down to ask him to reserve those for them. It was just really frustrating that almost every set was taken and we ended up in the back row multiple days, despite the reserved chairs being unused. Despite the chair issue, once they were set up for us it was nice to have them for the day!Overall we had a wonderful time!

For the last 15 years we have been staying on Okaloosa Island and most of the time we have stayed at Summer Place. Condo 604 is by far the best condo we have used. It is beautifully decorated, it has the most fully stocked kitchen, a large TV in each of the rooms, and great balcony furniture. It was a first time visit for our brother and sister-in-law and they could not get over how nice the condo is. Having 2 times the beach service was an added bonus.

Incredible view/pool/beach access and beautifully updated condo!

Reviewer Comments: We loved our visit to Okaloosa Island and our stay in Summer Place 604!The view was INCREDIBLE, pools were perfect, beach access convenient, 4 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas a huge plus! We loved being on the 6th floor so that it felt more private and up away from the pool noise. We brought our family of 4 and the grandparents. The master suite was perfect for grandparents that expect a modern and comfortable hotel-like experience. The bathroom was beautiful and top notch! What a beautiful ocean view!! There is a sliding door from the master suite onto the 1 balcony. This meant the grandparents could be in their suite or balcony without going through the main room. Then if you wanted to be together just open the door to the main living space or join them on the balcony. The two Queen suite was great with the attached door to the 2nd bathroom. Our kids loved the bunk room!!The kitchen was so well stocked with any dishes, small electric appliances, or utensils you could want! The property description is accurate. The condo is updated, tastefully decorated, clean and well-maintained! We hope to come back here in the future and would definitely recommend this condo and building to friends!For planning purposes - Summer Place 604 provides the bath and kitchen towels. You bring your own beach towels.You will want to bring (or buy) laundry soap/dryer sheets, dishwasher soap, and salt/pepper. We ran out of TP but Legacy gave us more. Only improvements would be black out curtains on the 2nd/3rd rooms and TP holders.There was a pack and play crib in the master closet and a few baby spoons / forks and plenty of plastic plates.We loved being in a condo ON the beach, easy access with a code on the door knob (no digging for keys), walking distance to restaurants, 5 minute drive to the grocery store, walking distance to the Gulfarium, pier, and boardwalk! The condo had comfortable room for all of us and maybe one child but to stretch it to 10 is would be unacceptable. The condo was SO nice in every regard.
