Property is clean, well appointed with generous stocking of the kitchen and laundry. Bikes included- easy access to a hike/bike trail along the intracoastal waterway. Property manager was readily accessible and quickly handled a problem with the pool heater . Pool is heated to 86 degrees. Very private lanai. Quiet neighborhood . Conveniently located ro downtown Venice and shopping.This house is ideal for a single, couple or , small family . Would be a bit close for 2 couples but manageable.

Great vacation

The house is lovely - immaculately clean, comfortable furniture, and appears to be recently renovated throughout. The kitchen is very well appointed with everything we needed. The neighborhood is very nice, quiet, good for taking walks, litle traffic. I loved the pool - clean screened-in, water temp was perfect. The location is terrific - close to Tamiami Trail with stores and far enough away to be quiet. There's so much to do close by. The manager was very responsive on the only minor matter we had.

Nice place to relax.

Overall the property was nice. Good location. A few ideas for the owner: A welcome sheet listing house rules, when trash pickup is, some local activities and restaurants. A few items would have been helpful small garbage cans in bathrooms, pot holders in kitchen, another lounge chair for by the pool. We did have some trouble with the TV and internet. If rebooting the internet and turning on and off the TV don't work, holding the power button on the TV remote for a complete restart worked. We really enjoyed being close to the Legacy Trail for our morning walks.

Venice Getaway

The property was in a great location. Close to many restaurants and several beaches. The owner should invest in a few kitchen chairs. Eating outside is not always the best option. The kitchen was well equipped and nicely upgraded. Having only 1 TV was a challenge. The house is small. No closet in master was a challenge.

Always a great time in Venice but..

This Property is very outdated. It's small olny 875 sq. The mattress are ok but very 10 year old pillows like. For the amount of the money they charge would be great to buy some new pillows. Only the kitchen is updated but the oven doesn't work properly. Everything is old. In the garage is parked the owners car where every morning when you open the door of the garage it's a big smoke or fumes and bad smell coming out. The back yard is very ugly no maintenance at all. Garbage from old trees, leafs and branches are left there. I wouldn't take any nice pictures because would be embarrassing like we went in 3rd world country. Would've been nice some green grass or flowers. The main and the worst issue is the water. Very smelly water, it feels like soapy or oily in your skin it feels like you can't rinse your hand from soap. Definitely not drinkable and we had to buy cases of water for cooking as well. Even worse than Cuba. It is well water not city water which is fine but Our friend that lives in venice did the test for us and the owners have to do the proper treatment. Our kids were crying each time they would shower. On top of that the water was shut down. We called the property manager and we fixed it as per their directions by text message. From their response it looked that it was a common and continuous problem. The managers were very quick and nice to respond. I believe that the homeowners are supposed to invest a little bit more to make the clients happy. You can't only cash in..No Umbrella , 2 very bad chairs. Very bad and cheap towels and very cheap bad sheets. Walmart has very good and cheap homeware..Everything was cheap and ugly, like bought in dollar tree store. we felt like we rent it the worse place we ever rented for the last 5 years in Florida. We always had a great experience in every Property but this one very dissapointing. Please Homeowners we can pay anything but please treat us with the respect and not like you are hosting us for free. ANYONE PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU RENT AND YOU CANT CANCEL OR HAVE ANY LIMIT OF DAYS FOR REFUNDS AS THIS PROPERTY HAS..that should've been a red alert for us. Don't be fooled by the pool and the pictures.

Hello Rudina, So I am sorry your experince was so bad, I wish you would have told me during your stay how dissatisfied you were, we could have cancelled your stay and find you some different place. I would definitely be wiling to help you with that. But I havent heard a word and it makes me little sad, just wish you would have told me. The towels are Tommy Bahams, sheets are donna karan (from marshalls but still donna karan:). Yes some of furniture is old and we are working on getting new pieces. The owner just started renting and wants to update the place, step by step. As for the garage - I have no idea what fumes are you reffering to? And yes he has his car there since this is his home🤷‍♀️. The water issue happened to us once, the pump is new but evidently needs some adjustment. You are also the first tenants who had issue with the quality of the water. We know the house is not perfect, hence it is priced the way it is. We are working on making this place better for our future clients Again, I am sorry your stay was not perfect but I wished you would share some of your complaints during your stay. Best regards Linda
