Welcome to ‘Carriage House!’ This charming beach bungalow is located just steps away from all things Seaside and is situated off the iconic Seaside Avenue and East Ruskin Street, making it the perfect fit for an unforgettable getaway. The cottage is a short stroll, only 8 houses from the beach access at East Ruskin Pavilion, one block to downtown Seaside, and steps to gorgeous Seaside Avenue.

This one-bedroom carriage house can be found directly over a garage, privately located off the main cottage, ‘Vista Del Mar', and facing East Ruskin Street with a private driveway with parking for one car. It has its own private entryway, as well as an outdoor shower. Guests can meander through an enclosed stairway to find the entry door. Step into the main level and discover an open floor plan. This level features an open living area, as well as a flat-screen TV and white slipcovered chaise lounger seating for two. In close proximity to this space is an open, fully equipped kitchen, as well as a queen bed and full bathroom. Another amazing feature of this cottage is its very own private balcony, where guests can relax and enjoy stunning sunsets and views of the town. * 3 night minimum Spring, Spring Break, and Summer; 3 night minimum Fall; 2 night minimum Winter. Must be 25 years of age to rent and sign the registration.

Beach Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the Carriage House. It was a perfect space for my husband and I. The house is a quick walk to the private beach access, as well as town center. I would highly recommend!

Great place

The property was very clean, check in easy, lots of communication, and the perfect location. Decorated very pretty. The only negative was the mattress which was very, very soft and seemed older. The metal bed frame squeaked when you would move in the bed. Otherwise it was perfect. Would stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the location is GREAT and the unit small but efficient. It needs a DEEP cleaning, a little bit of mold visible. We were told the icemaker didn't work which was ok BUT on the 3rd night, it started making loud noises. I called and left messages about it but no one ever followed up. We banged on it a lot until it stopped. I was very disappointed we didn't get a follow up call.The TV is very small and confusing. The bed and furniture were comfortable. The kitchen adequately stocked although we didn't cook.

We loved the convenient location of this rental - to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and the chapel. We elected to not rent a car and the Uber from the airport was very affordable. The rental includes complimentary bikes and Seaside is very bike-friendly. The property itself is well maintained, clean, and quiet. We were delighted to see a welcome beach bag that included beach towels and a bottle of wine. With this rental you are paying for the location and it was worth every penny. Homeowners Collection was in touch ahead of the visit and checked in via text periodically. We did not have any issues and hope to return again!

The furnishings suited us perfectly, Everything was very comfortable. Linens were top notch. TV and WIFI were great. Very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. We even cooked at home two nights and enjoyed dinner on the porch in our rockers. The town square is easily accessible from this location. It was such fun we added an extra night to our stay. We will be back!

The location of this property is great. Very close walk to the beach and also to the restaurants and shops. There is no parking directly outside the unit but we had no issue finding parking nearby. The size of the unit is fine for a couple. I will say the interior and finishes were not the nicest we have encountered in Seaside. But nothing was not functional. Just dated and worn. Especially the bathroom. We enjoyed the balcony deck. Overall we had an awesome stay. Great food, weather, and company!
