The Sloth Suite is located on the upper floor of the villa with a private entrance. The suite has an open concept, with a large main room for dining, living and sleeping. There is a queen bed and a pull out couch that accommodates 1 extra adult or 2 children. There are large glass windows that provide stunning 180-degree views of the volcano, lake and rainforest.

The Suite offers luxury and elegance with the comforts of home, including satellite TV, high speed wifi internet. It has a modern bathroom with a walk-in rain shower (big enough for two!), with excellent water pressure and temperature. The toilet is in a separate room adjacent to the sink. You can also enjoy the outdoor rock shower in a completely enclosed and private area.

The modern kitchen provides all the cooking amenities of home. Refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave, toaster and drip coffee maker.

As you sit out on the observation deck and the sunshine warms your skin, close your eyes and listen to the melody of the birds and howler monkeys, all set against the rushing waters of the Piedras Negras river and nearby waterfalls.

GETTING AROUND: You will want a 4WD vehicle. The last drive up to the house is a road made of gravel and rocks. When it rains there are potholes. You will be a lot happier with a 4WD here and in most areas of Costa Rica. While there are a couple of things to see and one restaurant within walking distance of the house, there are many activities that require a 10 to 45 minute drive. You will not be happy waiting for a cab to arrive either coming of going.
