Kaylor is a very welcoming house. The property is beautiful and has such a cool set up. We really loved the wrap around deck and outdoor eating area. We loved the whole place!

Great communication from host. Made it really easy to check in and out. We had a quick trip so we’re not able to enjoy all the amenities. Beautiful and private property. Would stay again!

Cozy and feels private

As a family of 4, we had plenty of space to spread out and really enjoyed the private hot tub, and the community pool (which we had to ourselves most of the time). It served as a nice, quiet place to base our adventures, and even though it was out of town a little ways, we enjoyed and appreciated the quiet….and we found some smaller, close by places to eat that were nice little gems. The only aspect we would improve is the lingering smell from the bathroom areas (which improved with windows open and fan blowing).

The "pin" on the La Fortuna map is way off. The house is actually near Sonafluca. We really enjoyed the house, but wanted to be closer to La Fortuna. VRBO says you will get directions and entry information about 3 days in advance; I really needed the directions for planning.House itself is really nice and the grounds are very private. We didn't have time to try out the hot tub.

We loved everything about our stay here. I was so happy to be out in the countryside about 15 minutes drive from busy LaFortuna. The area is authentic, safe and charming. Very Tica experience. Keylor was so accommodating and friendly and helpful and amazingly quick to respond. Beautiful property.

Lovely place for us! Host was super helpful and quick to respond. Hot tub was a lovely addition after a long day of hiking. Condo was safe and cozy. Loved to roll up door to open up the kitchen! Fortuna was a quick drive away and had everything we needed. Close to interest spots like a Cocoa Tour and zip line excursion. Would stay there again! Should have stayed longer.

The host was very good with communication and gave very detailed instructions for checking in. The community is very nice and safe. It’s about 20 mins from all the restaurants and shops in La Fortuna. We really appreciated the air conditioning units in each room. The water pressure in the shower is very nice. Great views of the volcano. If you wake up early you can watch lots of birds. The outdoor area is very good for entertaining. We will be coming back and plan a longer stay next time!

Contact with the host was difficult. I had problems with WhatsApp and she refused to use any other method of communication. The outside bar by the jacuzzi hid lots of junk. The bar hasn’t been used in a long time as there is a papaya tree growing from the middle of the bar. If you use the jacuzzi you need to know it will empty all of the house water. The downstairs bedroom smells very musty, the window screens were all torn, the kitchen window to the patio “living room” had a large gap in it allowing bugs to invade the bedroom and kitchen area. The kitchen faucets were all very loose. The downstairs toilet squeals very loud with every flush. There is no central trash bin available to the condo. The condo felt very aged. The road into the complex itself feels like a 4x4 is required. The view of Arenal Volcano was good from the 2nd floor bedroom. There is no laundry cleaning access at the complex.

A vacation while on vacation

Relax House was great. It felt like a mini vacation within our vacation. Great views, relaxing hammocks, just overall positive experience.
