Relax and unwind on your private waterfront lanai while enjoying your well-deserved Hawaiian vacation. Ocean views and fabulous sunsets abound from this newly updated North Kihei condo. Literally steps away from the beach and beautiful tropical waters of Maui, you really can’t get much closer to the ocean! Sit back and watch Humpback Whales breeching in the winter months, outrigger canoes passing by early in the morning, and the local Honu (sea turtles) that have made this particular area home.
Directly in front of your beachfront condo, there is an ancient Hawaiian fish pond, which the Honu seem to love! It also creates a natural wave break so the waters are shallow and calmer than the surrounding beaches - perfect for small children (and turtles!).

With fresh paint, new furniture and updated décor, this lovely condo is the ideal beach retreat for your Maui escape. The living area features a large Smart TV and a plush new sectional with sleeper sofa. There is seating for 4 at the dining table, making it a perfect spot for an evening game of Hawaii’opoly.

The condo boasts a large kitchen that is well equipped for your indoor cooking needs, or use the rooftop and ocean front barbecues if you prefer. Either way, bring your dinner out to the lanai dining table, perfect for an al fresco meal under the stars with the sounds of waves in the background.

The bedroom has a new in 2022 comfy California King bed, ceiling fan, large TV, and blackout shades, conveniently located just off the bathroom. An efficient split system AC located in the living area AND bedroom will keep you cool, especially on those days you may get a little too much sun. The washer and dryer in the unit allows for lighter packing, and beach chairs and beach towels are provided so you have what you need for your day on the sand.

While we strive to keep all photos up to date, there may be new and updated pieces of furniture or décor that are different than in the original pictures. The functionality, available seating and sleeping space will remain the same or may improve.

The Menehune Shores condominium complex boasts a prime, oceanfront location in North Kihei – the perfect location for exploring the rest of the island while avoiding the traffic. Guests staying at Menehune Shores will enjoy refreshing dips in the oceanfront pool along with afternoon shuffleboard sessions. Well-manicured grounds with huge lawns and two BBQ areas are available for guest use.

Activities nearby include touring the museum next door at the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale Sanctuary Visitor Center, swimming in the huge and historic 16th century royal fish pond right at the front of the property, and enjoying an oceanfront dinner at Monsoon Indian Bar and Grill located onsite on the ground-floor level of the building.

Waipuilani Park and Kalepolepo Beach are just moments away. Close to many prime snorkel sites, dive shops, and whale watching, this is the perfect home base. Additional shopping and dining are just 1 mile south at the Azeka Shopping areas and include Nalu Southshore Grill, Fork and Salad, Roasted Chiles Mexican and Coconuts Fish Café. Menehune Shores is conveniently located and is an excellent choice for stunning sunsets, swimming and snorkeling, romantic beach strolls, and seasonal whale watching.
This unit is perfectly situated and has all you need for an unforgettable Hawaiian vacation.

Beautiful updated comfortable condo, perfect for 2-3 guests if you dont mind sharing bathroom. The view is amazing, so much better in person, the ground level walk out and lanai enhance the visit tremendously for us, as we enjoy random strolls with such ease and beauty. We did not have any littles but be sure this is a perfect location for traveling with. We love Kihei area as much to do, great food close by and central to day trip from. Would definitely choose this condo again...and again!

We stayed here for about a week. It was great, very clean and had everything we needed inside. Bed was comfortable, and really appreciated the AC throughout the unit. Two things outside of property managers control, there is plenty of parking but the spots are a bit tight. If you get a jeep (like we did) be prepared and patient! The other is that the view and access to the beach from the lanai was top notch. Only downside is we'd have people walking accross our view for beach access. They're not super close, but they walk next to the stone wall. Regardless of those two things we'd absolutely stay again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We received a text the day before our arrival to state that the door code that was sent a few days earlier wasn't working and there was the new door code. I texted back to ask what we should do if we had any problems. A number was sent and I was told that we would have 24 hour assistance if there were any issues. When we arrived at the condo at 11 pm after a day of flying, the door code that we were sent didn't work. We tried several times and then called the number. We got a recording that said someone would call us back immediately to assist us. Nobody called so we kept trying the code that was sent to us. We tried calling the help number and left several messages. We ended up sleeping in our tiny rental car on a night that had flood warnings. We drove around a couple of times in the night to try and find a bathroom. We finally received a call 8 hours after our original call for assistance. An agent was sent over to the condo and she was very apologetic and let us in saying that they had been having troubles with this lock and needed to get it repaired. I asked the agent to have the manager call me as soon as they arrived into the office that morning. I received a call from the manager later that afternoon. He said they would pay us back for the night we didn't use the condo as we were sleeping in the car but no other compensation would be made for the poor service that we were given. He then said that it was our fault that we couldn't get in because the lock was working fine now. All that I know is that we tried the lock at least 40-50 times and it didn't work. we did use it for the remainder of the vacation and it worked but that night it wasn't working. The customer assistance was non existent and the manger could benefit from some assistance on how to deal with customers. All that said, the condo was great and was well appointed but I would never ever book a condo that was under the management of CBIP. The manager at CBIP was very unprofessional!
