We absolutely loved this home during our week-long stay in Hilton Head! It was perfect for our family and our dog. We especially loved the fenced-in yard, the pool, and the layout of the home with plenty of space to relax and gather together. We would definitely stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 7 really enjoyed our stay. The house was really nice and had plenty of room for everyone . Location was convenient to everything in the Sea Pines community. The pool was wonderful and my grand-dog loved the fenced in yard.I didn’t give the house 5 stars because the carpet in the master bedroom was just shampooed before we arrived, so it was really wet. Don’t understand why you would do something like that on a check in day?The Florida room also had a dog odor, but that is probably hard to control with a rental that allows dogs.The house could also use some new frying pans and the outdoor grill could be updated.

Home Away From Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at 1 Tupelo. It is such a lovely and comfortable place to spend a week. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Very clean and well-maintained. We wished we could have stayed longer. The large shady pool and spa were fabulous and the basketball hoop for the pool was a fun bonus. Its location is centralized on Sea Pines, very convenient to Lawton Stables and the Sea Pines Forest Preserve. A short and easy bike ride to the beach, under 10 minutes. There are so many nice leisure trails to walk and bike throughout Sea Pines. We love everything about Sea Pines especially watching all the wildlife like the deer and the numerous kinds of birds. Staying with Beachside Getaway was a pleasure. Hope to come back again!

Thank goodness we heated the pool, the weather was cool, and it worked great. Everyone enjoyed that. All of the appliances worked very well. There were lots of puzzles and games, plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. The location was good. Just an all around good house for our family to enjoy a few days together! The house was very clean, the bedding comfortable.

Spring break

We had a great time in Sea Pines. This house was clean, and nicely maintained. The pool and hot tub were great. It had lots of space to spread out. Perfect place for our spring break with teenagers.

Perfect vacation house!

Three generations (ranging from 6 months to 63!) plus two dogs enjoyed a wonderful vacation at 1 Tupelo. The house had a great open floor plan with plenty of space for gathering and for quiet time. We loved the heated pool and hot tub, especially since the weather was a bit cool, and our dogs enjoyed the fenced yard. Hope to return next year!

Loved it!

We loved this house! Communication with the Beach side Getaway team was super easy, they were super quick to respond to any questions and they also checked in during our stay to make sure everything was ok. House location is excellent, very clean and it has everything you’ll need during your stay. We were very happy and were definitely coming back.

Perfect house for a large family

This house was perfect for our family. The location was also perfect. 10 minute bike ride to the beach. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and grill out. The pool was pretty and the trees in the back yard are amazing! Beds were comfortable and fully stocked with linens and towels. We really appreciated the beach towels that were provided.

The House with the knickknacks

The house was very comfortable for six adults and two children. I would definitely stay there again. Very good location only two criticisms one the bathrooms could be updated but OK specially, the master shower there were way too many beach knickknacks around the house that’s just my personal taste, otherwise everything was perfect. We love the dog run and so did a dog Boomer.

Awesome home!!

We loved our stay here—it was roomier and nicer than the pictures! The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, pots and pans. The grill was clean. The open floor plan out to the pool was a great feature. The fenced in property was a plus for the dog. There were two bikes available for our use—including a basket and a lock. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Everything you need!

The home was perfect for our every need! We enjoy cooking/grilling and felt like we were in a gourmet kitchen. The home is beautifully decorated with more supplies than you will likely need. The pool is lovely and the optional heating option was helpful as the temperature was a bit cooler than expected. The house was extremely clean and welcoming. Would highly recommend this beautiful home!

Great Time

House was lovely and well-equipped. Didn't give 5 stars because of problems heating hot tub and shower in master bathroom needs updating (shower does not function well and difficulty with water temperature.) Also no previous knowledge of whether bicycles at house could be used by renters so perhaps added expense of renting them.

Excellent Family Vacation!

We had a fabulous time at Beachside Getaway! The house is fully stocked with everything you need for a fabulous vacation. Neighborhood is lovely (just be aware of the alligators on the island!). Our two teenage boys loved the house and pool. We rented bikes and rode the neighborhood and to the beach daily - the beach is about a mile bike ride away - gorgeous ride through the golf course. The nextdoor neighbors were lovely and the neighborhood is very dog friendly. We did have a few issues while we were there (pool water low and master bathroom sink drain) - the property mgmt company was incredible, very responsive, quick to fix and followed up. There are parts of the house that could use updating - carpet was pretty dirty in the bedrooms and the fenced in yard could use some lattice around the deck, our small dogs did get out through a gap near the deck so we have to figure out how to close the area off. All said, we will definitely be back and will consider this house again. Thanks for the hospitality.

1 Tupelo

This was nice house, and is ideal for two families, as there are two master bedrooms and two rooms for kids. It is a ranch which also makes it nice for grandparents, but I enjoyed not having to drag luggage upstairs. No slippey steps to the pool either. I have been to Hilton Head 12 times and stayed all over the island and everyplace has it's advantages and disadvantages. This is what I liked about this house. It has a really nice pool and working hot tub. One of the best we have ever had. It's in Sea Pines, which I prefer because I like biking and there a lot of paths to bike and run on. It has a fence to protect you dog. It's very close to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve, where you can fish stocked lakes and hike. My son likes to fish. It is a five minute drive to a plaza with a grocery store, gas station, some off the radar restaurants, and also close to a CVS and an urgicare. Sounds stupid but you always need something and in Sea Pines it doesn't feel commercial but this house is not that far from civilization. The only negative is it is a little far from the beach. We biked to the beach club and rented chairs and umbrellas through shore beach service. It took 14 minutes on bike. It was our first time on a public beach, so lots of people, but I did like the bar and close bathroom. There is a closer beach access which we used in the morning to take our dog for walks on the beach. Overall, I would recommend this house. We enjoyed our stay there!
