This unit is fully remodeled from Top to Bottom, and has absolutely nearly anything one could ask for on Vacation.
Incredible features that people love: Top Floor Location provides the best views, and being on the corner, you'll never worry about noise. Split Air Conditioning Units in both the Living Room & the Bedroom! An incredibly rare feature that most units do not have. Beautifully decorated with high end furnishings and art work. Wonderfully Shaded Lanai for Relaxation while able to enjoy the water. Living Room has comfortable pull out sofa that could comfortably sleep 2 additional people. I loved staying here. It's clean, quiet, excellent location, easy self check-in & parking, quiet and efficient air conditioning, and you can hear the ocean from the bed. You can see the ocean from the little window in the shower. What's not to love? I want to stay here again.

Quiet And Relaxing

The unit we rented was very clean and had everything you would need for your vacation. The property grounds were immaculate and well cared for. Close to town for restaurants and some shopping. We really appreciated the fact that this unit had air conditioning as a couple of our days were quite warm. The management company, Knutson and Associates checked in briefly during our stay to make sure everything was okay. Appreciated that. We would stay at this unit again.

Great view with excellent access to town.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed this property. Very clean and well kept. A couple of considerations however for those with mobility issues, this is a third floor unit with no elevator access. I have a bad knee and by the end of the trip my knee was shot from all the walking and sightseeing, so the stairs were a bit of a pain point for me. Also, the unit is beautiful and we really enjoyed the view from the lanai, but the windows for the bedroom are louvered windows and do let quite a bit of sound in from outside, so if you're a light sleeper, I recommend running white noise on your phone or running the fan on a higher setting. The beach chairs in the closet, and the cooler that was available made our stay a lot easier to plan without having to worry about renting or purchasing things we would need to leave behind. Also want to add that Knutson and Associates was fantastic to work with, and provided such clear instructions for making our stay as worry free as possible. They also provided ample communication to ensure our needs were met.

Spectacular Hawaiian Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I loved staying at Kona Isla C38! I looked for several weeks for a beautiful rental and am so glad I chose this rental. Knutson staff were extremely professional, prompt, and helpful with all my questions. The rental was beautiful and clean with all the amenities we needed. We only needed to bring our pick of groceries! The additional mini fridge on the balcony was great for keeping our drinks cold while we enjoyed the gorgeous view of the water and sunsets from our balcony lanai. The beds were very comfortable, the space was roomy with a classy and comfy design throughout. The shower also had nice pressure and lots of hot water.The air-conditioning worked well as did the fans. It took me 30 years to return to Hawaii and this place was a perfect location to spend a very relaxing month. The grounds were well kept up with a very nice pool area in addition to a sandy area under palm trees right next to the water where I could sit in a chair and watch the sunset. The outside grill area was clean and easy to use with tables to eat at as well. The manager on site was very pleasant and helpful. Having a designated parking spot was also a plus because we could come and go without worry about finding parking when we returned. My whole family loved staying here!

Patiently answered my calls before renting, great at communicating about rental before arriving, checked in several times to ensure all was good while at unit, and promptly and professionally handled a couple issues. Nice Quiet Condo

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was nice and clean and had extra amenities like beach chairs. We really appreciated the AC units. The property was well maintained and pleasantly quiet. It’s is right next door to a saltwater pool, which was nice. I’d stay here again, for sure.

Great views, good location, a few issues

I have mixed feelings after our stay here. We enjoyed our stay overall but we probably wouldn’t stay here again. The good: - The view from the lanai is wonderful. - Nice common areas. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for. The sandy area by the ocean was our favorite - Good location. Walkable to town if you don’t mind a longer walk. - The AC works well; with two units the bedroom stayed cool for sleeping. - Assigned parking. - Beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella provided. - Management was very responsive whenever we had an issue. The not so good: - The biggest issue was the bugs in the kitchen. While I know bugs are common in Hawaii, this was the first time in any Hawaii rental unit that we’ve ever had an issue. Management did their best to respond but it unfortunately will probably take time to address. We kept all our food sealed and took out trash daily but still had significantly more bugs than we’ve ever had in a Hawaii rental. - The unit could use a good deep clean. Management sent a cleaning crew back out at our request, but the whole unit really needs to be thoroughly dusted (things like doors and decor), insides of cabinets wiped down, and all the kitchen items gone through to ensure they are actually clean. - Linens (especially the sheets) are worn out and need to be replaced. - The kitchen has no consumables - only salt and pepper. No oil of any kind, no spices, no foil (we left some behind).

It is situated on the corner with great views of ocean making it better than the other ones in either building B or C because you dont have to directly look across at the other units. The condo might have the best kitchen amenities of any condo we have stayed at in Kona. Well thought out for the vacationer with all the beach amenities you would need!

AMAZING STAY

They were super good at communicating with us as well. It was way clean inside and lots of kitchen things to use so you can make cheaper meals at home. I would definitely recommend staying here. One of the things we enjoyed about it was how close we were to the ocean. We also enjoyed how close it was to downtown Kona. Really easy to get places from this VRBO. I will say though my favorite thing was the view, it was so amazing.

exceptional condo

this condo was exceptional for a couple.of reasons. 1) the picture portraying the view from the condo was accurate. 2) i dont really evaluate decor but again this condo was exceptional. i started looking at many of the items on the walls and decided they werent tacky but very interesting. even some table placemats were super cool. they were very hawaiian and has a wood center and a woven exterior. my goal is to figure out where i can purchase some. 3) this condo was well stocked. they even had beach chairs and a cooler in a closet. plus i found a guidebook for hawaii this morning. i wish i had seen this sooner.

Hawaiian Anniversary Vacation

We had the most wonderful vacation and our stay in Kona Isle C38 was fabulous. We loved having our coffee and wine on the lanai every morning and evening. The view is spectacular! Right now I’m watching an 8 man canoe paddle by as the full moon is setting. Wow! The condo looked like it was freshly updated and true to the pictures. It was sparkly clean and the washer/dryer was handy. The bed was a little uncomfortable and we kept rolling to the middle, lol, but other than that we loved everything about the condo, the pool, the beach and the grounds. We will definitely stay here again. Aloha!🌺
