This is undoubtedly one of the most impressive Lanzarote villas. Located on the side of the Montana Roja volcano, the view from the sun terrace is truly stunning. Spectacular mountains lie to your left, Playa Blanca town and the sea directly in front, and Fuerteventura to your right - this is one view you can sit and admire for days! The large sun terrace is also completely private and the swimming pool is heated throughout the year. Other great features outside include the 6 seater hot tub, shaded pergola, large 'alfresco' style dining area and large brick barbecue. Inside the villa is equally impressive. The lounge has a TV, with internet TV system (incl all BBC/ITV/Sky Sports) . Wi-fi is also available for free. The new kitchen fitted in 2024 is fully equipped and the bedrooms are all large with air conditioning. All 3 double/ king size bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with walk in showers and their is a third bathroom also with a shower. In all, a truly fantastic villa we feel sure you will want to keep coming back to.

Although this villa has 4 bedrooms we welcome smaller parties particularly out of peak times.

We provide beach towels as well as bathroom towels - save weight and space in your luggage!

Relaxing with Beautiful Views

Both myself and my wife were blown away with views at the property. We went to Lanzarote to chill and this villa allowed us to do exactly that. It is in very quiet surroundings and the pool was amazing. The inside of the villa is well laid out and has everything you would need. Next time I am in Lanzarote, I will be definitely checking if this villa is available.

Amazing Views

Fantastic villa with everything you need for a great holiday. The villa has the most amazing views down into Playa Blanca- which were enjoyed every morning with a cup of tea (even on the couple of days when it rained first thing). Probably the best villa we have stayed in! Will definitely be back!!

We had a fabulous 2 weeks at the villa. So we’ll appointed and everything you could possibly want or need. We picked it as it was out of the main centre and this was perfect as it was a 40 minute walk, a €5 taxi ride or an easy scooter. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. Thanks!

Beautiful sunrise views 🌅

We had a wonderful 8 night stay at Villa Bella Vista. This is by far the best villa experience we have had. Communication was great. The villa is modern, spacious, very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There were lots of little touches that we appreciated, like welcome tray, washing up kit including dishwasher tablets etc. The outdoor space is fantastic with a good sized pool and fab jacuzzi. The pool guy came twice during our stay and the gardener once so the space is well maintained. The villa is in a quiet location, which suited us. We would recommend a car due to the location but also to visit other areas. We spent one morning at the Cactus Garden, which we loved and we visited the market in Teguise on the Sunday. The best thing about this villa has to be the views, it was not difficult to get up early every morning to watch those beautiful sunrises 🌅

The perfect short break

We stayed for one week in October 2021. Couldn't hire a car (there weren't any) which was no problem. A lovely walk into Playa Blanca - loads of electric scooters nearby for when we didn't fancy the walk and a cheap taxi back after dinner. The view is spectacular and really made our holiday. The weather was kind but having the hot tub was lovely as was the heated pool.

Amazing Villa

6 friends staying for friends 50th birthday. Fantastic views over to Playa Blanca and the sea in a quiet location. Great to watch the beautiful sunrises. Theres absolutely nothing we didnt like about being here. 30 min walk to main area but local taxi really quick for 4 Euros! Everything is catered for. Just perfect can highly recommend. We will be back!

Wonderful Villa

Rob could not have been more helpful, giving us tips for travel passes etc. We were met at the airport and from there on in our experience was wonderful. The villa was clean, well appointed and had everything we could ever need. The pool guy was friendly and the lady that changed the bedding was lovely. We were able to completely relax and recharge our batteries. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough.

Walking trip 2020

Everything was as described & even better. My self & 4 friends used the villa as a base to do some walking, location for us was 1st class accommodation was so good we had a couple of chill out days. If we were to return to Lanzarote I would have no hesitation in booking this villa again👍 Also is a great place for families lots of gadgets to keep the kids happy. Incredibly Relaxing Getaway

The villa has a very secure private patio and pool at the back with a lovely view of the surrounding areas. It is conveniently located near local shops, restaurants and the ferry port to visit the surrounding islands. Whilst the pool area sits in an lovely warm sun trap, it also benefits from the nice breeze Lanzarote is known for, which is great if the heat is a bit much for you. The rooms are very spacious and have air conditioning. There are multiple areas to lounge in for larger groups. The check in and out process was easy and we were kept informed of the process throughout. The villa was incredibly clean throughout and our stay was amazing!

Fabulous holiday

Just returned from our second holiday at this beautiful villa in Lanzarote. Don’t really want to share what a beautiful place this is!! In a very quiet area with fantastic sea views this villa keeps giving! It has everything you could possibly want for a totally relaxing holiday with excellent facilities both inside and outside. The owner is very helpful and approachable at all times. We definitely did not want to leave it behind and have already booked for next year. I cannot see a point when we will not want to return here! Perfect!

A fantastic family holiday

Had a wonderful stay in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote this summer. We stayed at Casa Kato, a villa we had not been to before but were not disappointed. The villa is big, clean and well looked after, the pool was great for the kids and bigger a kid (me!) and the Jacuzzi was a great bonus. It is well equipped with wifi, cable TV with UK channels inc. Sky Sports and Movies and free wifi which was great. We have stayed in the area where then villa is located before and would recommend a car as although walking into Playa Blanca is possible, on a hot day it’s much easier driving 5 minutes than walking for 20. We visited the whole Island and did many activities including camel riding, water parks, going on a submarine, caving, the beech and of course the markets. John and Mandy who come and clean the villa, the pool and Jacuzzi are a wealth of information and can recommend great restaurants. Rob, the owner made payment of the villa very easy. All in all a great holiday and we will be back in the future.

Fab villa well equipped for a great holiday

The villa was exactly as we'd expected, truthfully advertised and the pictures do it justice. It was clean, and although there was a mix up with the number of towels provided it was immediately sorted with one phone call to the number provided. Lovely pool area, great outdoor dining options and a well equipped kitchen, We stayed four nights and bbq'd twice, ate out twice and cooked breakfast three mornings. If there was any suggestion we could make to make the villa even better, a light by the BBQ would be helpful so we could see what we were burning (!), a parasol for the big table outside would be nice as there is no shade at all for most of the morning, which also meant the light into the front bedroom was pretty intense. Maybe some blinds on those doors? However, we'd 100% recommend the villa, and the communications and instructions were spot on. Thank you. We could be back!!!!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Playa Blanca and Casa Kato. The villa was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and situated in a quiet, secluded spot with fantastic views. Would recommend a car though, as we made numerous trips to larger supermarkets which are about 5 mins drive away. We also used car for trips to Timanfaya National Park, Go Karting at San Bartolome(fantastic day and value for all the family), and beaches at Playa Dorada and Playa Flamingo. Car hire for 2 weeks with Auto Reisen was only £180. Casa Kato has an amazing selection of movies(hundreds) which kept the kids amused in the late evenings whilst we enjoyed some Sangria and/or ice cold beers on the terrace. The Hot Tub was brilliant and a nice touch. The pool was good and we all spent a lot of time in there. The only critisisms I have with the villa was the pool is too deep for younger kids, even at the shallow end (1.2 metres). Neither my 9 year old, or 5 year old could stand in the pool, which spoilt their fun slighty, however didn't stop them from splashing around, and the tiles are extremely slippy around the pool when wet. Overall though, Casa Kato is a great place to stay, and was extremely great value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family or friends. Sneddon Family

Wonderful villa with stunning views

My wife and I have visited Playa Blanca many times and are always happy to revisit. This time we wanted to share the experience with a couple of friends and chose Casa Kato for our stay. We were most impressed with the villa particularly the views over Playa Blanca. The villa was fitted with a security alarm which gave added peace of mind together with the fact that there were local English speaking managers easily contactable by telephone. The WiFi also proved useful. We particularly liked the fact that the two double rooms were both en-suite which meant that both couples could enjoy private facilities. The villa was well appointed and comfortable and the outside space was great. There were areas which gave plenty of sun if required but others which gave refreshing shade when needed. The pool was clean and very refreshing and the ladies enjoyed the hot tub (complete with wine). The whole outside space was completely private and not overlooked at all but the tiles around the pool did get slippy when wet. As the weather was very hot during our stay(particularly at night) we had to run the ceiling fans all the time. Perhaps the consideration of AC in the future could enhance the villa even more. We found that the use of a car is essential for this villa. We would not hesitate to stay at Casa Kato again in the future and would heartily recommend it to friends.

The Best!

My husband and I stayed here in January, and this is a wonderful property in which to chill-out. The description and photos don’t do it justice. The villa is well-designed, very spacious and immaculate, with superb views. In addition, the owners have thought of everything to make this a real home away from home. I can’t stress this enough. We needed only to open a cupboard here or there to find everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We had fine weather, with highs of about 21C, but while January temps. can be pleasant mid-day, it can be fleece-weather cool in the morning and evening, so the electrically-heated pool (maintained at 28 degrees) and hot-tub were very welcome. There are 4 large bedrooms and various areas outdoors for seating so there is ample room for everyone to find a secluded space, both indoors and outside. The sat. TV has several English-language stations, including dramas, news and movies, and their is a huge collection of recent DVDs if nothing on TV suits. The initial correspondence and booking were swift and seamless and Rob was more than helpful. Details on how to get to the villa were easy to follow. The owners also provide a wealth of information about the villa and Lanzarote in general. We also appreciated that they have a very friendly, local caretaker, should one run into any problems. He was most understanding and amiable when we accidentally set off the security alarm. Playa Blanca is a pleasant, low-key coastal resort, with plenty to restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. We arrived late on a Friday, with time enough only to get to the local Spar for quick supplies, and were pleased to find a Chinese take-out nearby, which was just the ticket after a long flight. Lanzarote is a very small island, so nothing is very far away. A car is recommended to make the most of your stay. The scenery on the island is unusual and striking, quite different from the other Canaries, and a visit to nearby Timanfaya National Park is a must. El Golfo is also nearby and worth a stop. If you surf, or just enjoy spectacular scenery, take a drive up to Famara Beach in the northwest of the island, or up the central spine of the island to the small village of Haria. Great villa, photos are very accurate.

This villa is exactly as presented on the website which we used to book it. The rooms are spacious, well furnished with tasteful decoration. The pool is a good size - I'd say around 8x4M, and is not too deep so our young teenagers could swim in confidence. The steps into the pool do take up some space, but make it easy to get in and out. We stayed in April and the pool was heated to 28C which was perfect. The uncommon addition was a hot tub, heated to 38C, which was a great way of warming up after a long stint in the pool! The villa is located out of town, but we had a car so that was not an issue. I think you would need a car, although taxis are plentiful and cheap enough. The location does mean you have peace and quiet with no-one overlooking the villa. The villa came with a good selection of cooking implements and basic commodities (I assume left by previous guests) but also comes with a small welcome pack of water, wine, juice, milk, tea and coffee so you can survive without immediately going shopping. Hot water was plentiful, which can be a problem in some villas which use solar water heating, but this villa could cope with us all having showers without running out of water. Overall, great villa and one we'd be happy to return to.

The minute we saw the location and the view we knew we had found our slice of paradise and we have not been wrong. The island is stunning and so clean, well organised and ideal for a short break and long stay. We are spoilt for great restaurants in Playa Blanca and a stroll along the boardwalk is one of our favourite pastimes, and its long, very very long.
