Fun Beachy Cottage awaits your next family getaway. Lemon Bay Park is across the street-enjoy walking in the mornings or catching sunsets. The Public beach is a short 1 mile drive or walk to the gorgeous pristine turquoise waters of Manasota Key. This is centrally located near all the great restaurants , bars, and shops in Englewood and Manasota Key. This cottage is located 3 blocks from Manasota Key Bridge and directly across the street from the Lemon Bay Sunrise Park on Lemon Bay. It has a public Boat launch and park. The cottage is very well appointed and updated with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It has ample parking for up to 4 cars , a boat and trailer.

Over all stay was great. Hosts were great. Everything was in good condition at the house. Close to many shops,restaurants and things to do. I would actually give them a 4.5 the only thing holding them back from a 5 was the little bit of noise from the busy road out front

The kitchen, bathroom and laundry were fully stocked. This works for a short term rental. There is no storage in the bedrooms which would cause issues if we were staying longer than 4 days.

Thank you Erica for your feedback. We do provide additional hangers to guests that are staying with us for a long duration, usually for a 4 night stay like yours, they are not needed. There is plenty of storage in the laundry room and then a dresser in the master bedroom. Guests in the past haven't mentioned any issues before. We appreciate you mentioning it and encourage our guests to reach out with any concerns when they are staying with us so we can accommodate them during their stay.

This is located on a busy street. In a poor neighborhood of businesses not the beach. Everything is a walk and the condition of the property was poor.

Not Beachfront

The cottage was very clean and the property manager was easy to get ahold of and helped us with our WiFi.We were disappointed with the advertised location as it had described as beachfront. Cottage was on a very busy 4 lane road in a business district which was disappointing. We were told that cottage was within walking distance but would be hard to cross the 4 lane highway, so we drove to the beach.All the appliances including washer and dryer were in working condition.

A getaway from winter

My husband and I spent 40 nights at this cottage. We had an overall good experience. This quaint old place was clean with the exception of a few ants. The appliances, including air conditioning (and heat) all worked. The unit had some broken blinds in the smaller bedroom. I mentioned this via text to our host Allen when we first arrived. He responded that the property manager Olivia was probably aware. We purchased a shower curtain and tacked it up so our guests had privacy. The road is very loud and busy. And having the water shut off for “non payment” on the 10th day was a shocker. We contacted Allen, Olivia and VRBO and within a few hours, it was back on! The Englewood and Manasota Key area is a fun place to visit with a beautiful beach and many great restaurants. Linda & Dan
