Likewise, had we known about the smell during your stay, we absolutely would have done our best to address it right away. We take the accuracy of our listing very seriously and want prospective guests to have a clear understanding of what they are booking. We also respectfully disagree with the characterization of the neighborhood as "bad" and not safe. We have personally lived in this neighborhood for over five years and have welcomed hundreds of families through our doors without a single safety-related issue. While we understand that everyone may have a different level of comfort when visiting an unfamiliar area, we don't believe it is fair to characterize the neighborhood as "bad" based solely on assumptions or an individual perception. As for the exterior, the overgrown vines that were visible at the time of your stay have since been cut back and addressed. We continually maintain and improve the property based on guest feedback.
