The cottage has a warm and inviting atmosphere with tasteful decor and comfortable furnishings. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils and modern appliances, and the addition of a washer, dryer, and dishwasher makes for an easy, convenient stay. Its location is a highlight—just 13 minutes from Bathhouse Row, close to shopping and restaurants, and offering a pleasant lake view.There are, however, a few things to be aware of. The cottage sits directly across from a Highway, several motels with no barrier, and the glass front door with side windows limits privacy. It is also a second home on the property, sharing a small walkway with the owners home, and the larger deck is off of the owners home. The rental cottage does have a small deck with a hot tub, but it faces the Highway and motels across the street, which reduces the sense of seclusion. In addition, there is only one small bathroom, located just off the living room, which may be less convenient and reduces privacy.The interior comforts, convenience, and proximity to Hot Springs attractions make this cabin a good choice for those wanting a functional, well-equipped home base. It may not be ideal for travelers seeking a private or romantic retreat, but it works well for those who value comfort and easy access to the city.

The house is right on the lake with 2 large patios with a beautiful view of the lake, and a smaller patio with a nice hot tub! The house has modern amenities and top quality construction and appliances. The beds are very comfortable and lake views from both bedroom windows! Furniture is also very nice and comfortable, and a beautiful bathroom as well! Elizabeth is a wonderful hostess, very friendly and helpful! It’s a wonderful place for a couple’s getaway or a girlfriend’s retreat!!

Cute little getaway spot!!!

Overall nice and clean!!! Exactly as described in ad, easy check in and check out. Nice linens and furniture throughout, very quiet and tranquil location, close to everything Hot Springs has to offer. The host was very sweet and easy to communicate with! We would definitely stay here again!!!!!!!

Adorable, Picture Perfect Lakeside Cottage

We loved staying at this cottage! It was perfect for the two of us! There was a lot of detail put into each part of the home: modern appliances, beautiful shower, etc.! We loved the lake view from the deck and the gas heater! The owner was so helpful to bring us firewood and fire starter and to quickly respond to any questions we had!We’re so glad we came!

Great little lake cottage!

Couldn’t have been happier with this cozy and clean little lake cottage! Hosts were fantastic in accommodating us. Location is far enough outside Hot Springs but still close enough for everything we needed! Would definitely stay here again!

Cute cottage, but beware of the patio photos

Overall, we had a great stay. However, we chose this property based on the photos of the deck and patio. When arriving at the property, we learned that the pictures of the deck/patio are actually attached to the neighbor property. It stated in our book that we were welcome to use the patio, but we are private people and felt uncomfortable going to another property to utilize their deck, especially when they were there. Had we known this prior to booking, we probably would’ve chosen another property. The cottage was very clean and homey, and check in and check out was very easy.

We had a wonderful experience at this adorable cottage on lake Hamilton. It was perfect for our needs, very comfortable and close to restaurants, shopping, and local attractions. We would definitely return.

41 years ago, when my wife and I got married in Hot Springs, Nick and Pansey rented this same lake cottage to us for our 1st year of marriage. It was a magical, beautiful cottage on Lake Hamilton. Julie and I fell in love with our little cottage. We fell in love with Nick & Pansey. And we fell deeper in love with each other! Their granddaughter was 3 years old. Her name is Elizabeth and she was such a beautiful child. Absolutely full of life! We recently found out that Elizabeth had acquired the property to renovate and offer as a VRBO. So, For our 41st Anniversary, we came back home. Our very first home together and it was magical! It was better than we expected. Elizabeth has such a flair for making this house, a comfortable, quaint cottage home! If you’re in love, stay here! You’ll be more in love by the time you leave! You’ll be glad you did! ❤️

Lake Hamilton Cottage

Our stay was perfect! The cottage is beautifully decorated with modern updates and offers all the amenities we needed. It’s conveniently located near downtown Hot Springs which has plenty of gift shops and restaurants. We enjoyed a spa treatment at Quapaw Baths and Spa. Our favorite restaurants were The Ohio Club and Fishermans Wharf. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway!

This was a good property that our family enjoyed, & would stay again. The reason(s) that I did put as 5-stars are as follows: I did not see on the listing that there is another vacation property (I believe owned/managed by the same people) about 5 feet away from this house. While I had specifically searched for a private/entire residence & this does fit the bill, there were multiple people staying on the same property. Additionally, there are pictures of a very nice deck in this listing that seemingly goes to this 'other' house. I assume they are meant to be a communal/shared dock, & there is plenty of space, but if you want to avoid sharing an outside visit with complete strangers, it would helpful in my opinion to know that ahead of time. This property is also a couple hundred feet away from a Motel 6. Not a deal breaker, but that does mean a lot more noise & traffic as well.The last small issue we had- there was only (1) roll of toilet paper & (1) roll of paper towels in the house. Not a big deal, but as seems to always be the case, you only find these details out at the worst times. The house was very clean, the air conditioner kept the house cold even during summer heat, there was a welcome book with helpful information, the communication was very good & plenty of clean linens were provided.
