Brandon, First off, when I agreed to the 11AM check-in, no one had booked my house for the night before. Then subsequently someone did. I never agreed not to book my house for the night before. If that's what you wanted, you could have booked my house for the previous night yourself before someone else did. Surely you cannot expect me to lose out on a full night's revenue just because you wanted to check-in early. This is why I tried to accommodate you by either offering you back your early check-in fee, or allowing you to still check-in early while my housekeeper prepared my home for you. I communicated with the previous guests both that morning and the night before that they needed to be out by 11AM and they said they understood. I had no idea they were still there at 12:30PM when you arrived otherwise I would have contacted them to address this. The pool was cleaned the day before you arrived, but if it was unacceptable to you, all you had to do was call me and I would have had someone over there immediately to clean it for you. But you never did. This is the first I am hearing about this. Clearly you did not actually read the details of my listing, because not only did you miss the part about the $95 pool heating fee, you also missed the part about this being my primary residence, and that my personal belongings would be present. And why would you be going through my drawers looking at my personal belongings? How would you know what type of pornography was there unless you picked it up and looked at it? How would you know the deposit bag contained cash unless you unzipped it and looked inside? It sounds like you were enjoying snooping through my personal things rather than respecting my privacy. Next time, do your homework and read through the listing details so you know what to expect before booking. And contact the homeowner if something is unsatisfactory so it can be addressed, instead of saying nothing, and then bashing them in your online review after the fact.
