Great Stay for a Special Weekend

My family stayed at Lance’s home for my son’s fire academy graduation, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Lance was gracious enough to allow us to host a family open house to celebrate, which meant so much to us. The house itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable—the beds especially were amazing. When we had a small issue with the fire pit, his wife Miriam arranged for it to be repaired immediately so we could enjoy it. Their communication was always prompt and thoughtful, and their generosity toward my family was truly appreciated. I had been stressed about finding a comfortable place for our group of seven adults, as well as a host willing to trust us to have a gathering. I feel so lucky to have found this home. It was cozy and relaxing—so much so that we were so content just hanging there the entire time. We spent four peaceful days hanging by the pool and enjoying the comfortable living room. We also reunited with family in the area, making the weekend even more special. We had recently had a tragic passing of a young family member so not only was this a celebration of my son, but an opportunity to spend precious time healing together. I will never forget Lance and Miriam’s kindness and hospitality. Their home helped make a meaningful weekend absolutely unforgettable.

I was a little confused about the casita and how to access. I also was a little lost getting to the house. management responded quickly with directions and instructions. The house was comfortable and clean. The propane tank was empty and we had shopped to grill steaks. we winded up having to cook them inside. Overall the stay was good.

We had a great time celebrating a birthday with family! The home was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the pool and enjoyed spending time in the yard, which also had a few fun games to keep everyone entertained. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Great stay!

We had 13 of us for a bachelorette and had a wonderful experience! The home was clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of towels/etc, and the pool and outside area were so nice! I will say it was not necessarily steps away from Old town. Most places were a 10 minute uber away which was still fantastic!

Worst House

Looked like mold on the wall, filthy carpet, used, worn and dirty furniture, dents in walls, cracked mirror, dirty curtains, small yard, hose in pool. Not steps from Old Town. In a not great looking area. Nothing like the photos except for kitchen. Not recommended for anyone looking for a nice home to stay in. We couldn’t even stay.

Disapointing Check-In Experience and Very Lived-In Home

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place to others based on my experience. When we arrived at the home a little past 3pm (our check in time), the cleaners looked like they were just getting started. The place was a mess. They ended up leaving around 4 pm. It delayed us in getting the home ready/fridge stocked for our friends to arrive. Unfortunately, the cleaning was rushed, as you can tell by the results. The house and pictures as advertised didn't reflect the state of the home. It is a very lived-in home. The walls/doors were rough, much of the furniture inside needs a good cleaning, ie -stains on the couch. Also, the outside furniture wasn't as advertised - all the outdoor furniture is ripped/or in bad shape. The striped cute lounge couches you had in the photos weren't there. Overall - We enjoyed the overall set up of the house, but had a bad initial experience and feel the pictures do not accurately depict the actual home quality. I did make the owners aware and gave them time to respond because I never leave bad reviews, but they only said they'd follow up with me 4 days ago and never did.
