Tired of the same old cookie-cutter vacation homes with rattan furniture and no style or pizzazz? So were we!
We designed Surfside Surprise to be anything but! Its name is because we literally have a surprise everywhere you turn in this designer-decorated beach house. Like shuffleboard behind the couch in the living room. And an infinity gaming table with dozens of games, including digital versions of nearly every board game. Real surfboards on the wall and original life rings in the "Titanic Room" from the era. A floor-to-ceiling wave mural in the hallway stairs. And the kids’ room with viewport mirrors that make it feel like they’re on a ship. It’s a step way above other vacation homes! Best of all, we’re just an hour away from Houston. Even better - we’re pet-friendly! Bring the doggos!

Living Spaces

That massive sectional sofa is the thing dreams are made of. Stretch out in plush comfort as you’re watching a favorite show or long-awaited movie on the 65” HDTV with WiFi. Or curl up on the cozy side chair with your book or mobile device.
Feeling a little more active? Challenge a friend or family member to a board game, shuffleboard tournament, or arcade marathon on the gaming table. Play nice!

Kitchen & Dining

The chef is going to love this dreamy kitchen! With seafoam green cabinets, stainless steel appliances, nifty subway tile backsplash, and lots of modern styling like floating shelves, you’ll be cooking in style here.
The breakfast bar with seating for 3 makes it easy to enjoy your coffee and bagel in the morning and keep the chef company at mealtime. And because coffee is the best part of the morning, our coffee bar is complete with both a single cup and full pot Keurig, along with complimentary coffee pods. We even provide a little “welcome” snack selection!
Enjoy those delicious culinary creations at the alfresco dining table. What could be better than dinner with a view (and a breeze)?

Bedrooms & Baths

With accommodations for up to 14 guests, you’ll definitely be able to find the spot that speaks to you!
Two primary suites each feature king-size beds. The first also has some great nautical decor, a ceiling fan, two lights for the late-night readers, and a TV and the ensuite bath has a huge walk-in shower.
The second has a rustic-chic decor theme, with amazing windows all the way around, a TV, and dual nightstands and lamps. Best of all, private access to the deck. Late-night glass of wine, anyone? The ensuite bath has a walk-in shower.
Next up is a guest room with two queen beds, ceiling fan, nautical “wave” color scheme, TV, and a corner armchair for some alone time, with your book, journal, phone, or maybe just your thoughts.
Last but not least is the kid's bunk room with two queens and two doubles. It’s got a ship’s berth theme going on that the kids will love. It’s also got two ceiling fans, a TV, and plenty of storage cubbies.
These two rooms share a full bath with an oversized walk-in shower. The additional half-bath is in the living area.
We offer a full-size washer and dryer for our guest’s convenience.

Outdoor Amenities

We offer plenty of outdoor fun to make your trip truly memorable. There’s seating on both decks with great water views, perfect for sipping on a beverage while hanging out with friends and family! Host a family barbecue on the ground level with the gas grill located under the house. The picnic tables even have built-in drink coolers - they’re really convenient (and cool!).
While you’re waiting for the burgers and veggies, play a game of ping pong or corn hole. We’ve even got a firepit for roasting marshmallows and telling stories! And when you get home from the beach (or really anytime you want) take advantage of the enclosed outdoor shower. You’ll love it! Oh, and speaking of the beach, we’ve got a whole shed full of chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and more for you to use.
The yard is completely fenced to keep the kids and doggos safe.
