Trainy cold hut

Good day! Unfortunately we were not able to stay in her house because we would have frozen here. It is an impertinence to rent a house for the beginning of November without proper heating. We imagine a feel-good holiday a little differently than freezing under blankets.The door is completely crooked and the windows are leaking. We also took pictures of the situation, including a thermometer, which we will forward to our lawyer.

Wie erwartet

Da wir die Bewertungen alle gelesen haben, gab es keine Überraschungen. Ja, die TĂŒr hat geklemmt, aber sonst war alles gut. Die Lage war unschlagbar. Die Terasse super, die Betten, das Bad, die KĂŒche OK. Sogar Schwimmreifen waren da, und Buddelzeug.

The host was quick to respond to questions and sent detailed messages with check in and out info. Accessing the property was easy as well. The house had everything we needed. The appliances looked new. The tv and internet worked well. The deck was our favorite space. We even saw dolphins.

Vrbo was not upfront about the parking situation. I rented beach houses before. I have concrete below for parking. This particular house you cannot park close. You have to carry all your belongings through . It’s only in the fine print. Had trouble entering the property. Was not given the keypad number until I had waited at the door for a while. If you are handicapped or have trouble walking, do not rent this house. I would not stay there again.

Listing was not up front about having to park quite a distance from the house. it’s very difficult to unload and carry everything through deep sand. If you were handicapped or have trouble walking, I would suggest you don’t stay here. It’s a beautiful view, but no parking. They should tell you this upfront not in fine print.

The property is named "Dolphin View", but the only view this property offers is of oil rigs. The house was clean and the bed was comfortable. The steps leading up to the house were in good condition. The porch lights put out a lot of light, but that is the only positive things I have to say about this property. I felt unsafe during out entire stay. The kichen floor sagged. I felt like I might fall through it. The deck needs updated. I felt unsafe to even walk on it. Just trying to get to the house was unsafe. It required parking on a dead end street and then walking through brush and a small sand dune to reach the property. I actually fell down walking on the sand just trying to get to the property. There was a board with a rusty nail right beside where I landed! The water in yhe house is YELLOW so we felt unsafe to even shower in it. The front door lock is old. We felt unsafe and left the property after only being there for about 15 hours. I was thankful we did not have little kids with us because there was a consistent flow of traffic driving both directions on the beach including cars, trucks, and golf carts. Surfside has 6 liquor stores, but no real places to shop of eat. "Surfside" and "Dolphin View" are very misleading and we were very disappointed with our short stay.

I cannot say enough about how my family and I LOVE this home. It is right on the beach and has everything you need for a perfect stay. My dogs are always welcome and they love being there. The host is amazing and always accommodating. This is the only home we stay in now. This was my 4th stay.

The location is what you’re paying for. Imagine waking up each morning and being the only one on a breath taking beach. But beware 
. The smell of the water coming through the plumbing smelt like raw sewage and the mold/mildew from the house being closed up was a bit strong. A couple of hours with the windows opened allowed us to sleep peacefully with the waves in the background. Be prepared with a case of water, and candles and you will be set. This is not meant to be a negative post
. Just want others to be prepared.

Private Spot on the Beach

Love this property. Stayed for our 30th Anniversary. Amazing views from the deck. Just steps from the water. Great AC and appliances. Comfy furniture. No interruptions. It would be a ideal place for a couple and up to two small children. Very cozy and within walking distance of two restaurants.

This place is perfect and was everything that we needed for a nice family weekend at the beach. Loved drinking my morning coffee on the porch and evening tea. I could not ask for a better place to stay!! We will be back!!

Great location, poor communication and response from owners.

The house sits right on the beach which is great. When we arrived half of the house did not have power. The AC unit would run for a few minutes and then turn off. When we contacted the owner and she said that her husband was out of town and that he normally handled these things. So the first night we couldn't cook or cool the house. They did come out around 11 the next morning and fixed the power to the house. Howeber, the AC still would not run properly. I did attempt to contact the owner to let them know about the AC and never heard anything back. We were unable to cool the house for the duration of our stay.
