The home was big and set up great for a large group. Communication was good with the hosts. Lots of road noise is heard if you are outside. Cleanliness could be better. Pros: great for a group gathering. Lots of beds, plenty of comfortable furniture (two living rooms), lots of outdoor seating, easy access from a main road, two HVAC units so you can keep the sleeping area at a different temp. All necessities needed are there, including some spices for cooking.Cons: walked in to a musty smell that we were able to remedy by opening doors and windows for a few hours. Kitchen cabinets are sticky when opening them, could use a deeper cleaning, coffee pot was too small for the coffee maker, the brewed coffee would go into the carafe unless you held the spring up. We didn't sit outside much as there was a lot of traffic noise. There are directions to not remove the pool equipment, but it's spread out in the pool so much I'm not sure how you could fully utilize the pool with it in it. Bathroom sinks dripped.

You did not mention the odor, and we are unsure of its source. The Wi‑Fi was shut off for several days, and we do not know why. We also noted that the solar skimmer had been removed from the water and was damaged. Rather than filing an insurance claim, we returned it to Home Depot (within the one‑year return period) and purchased a replacement ourselves........

Close to everything. Golf, baseball, shopping. Lots of space.

GOLF TRIP

We were in town to meet up with some high school buddies to play golf for a week. The house was great, but it was on the corner of a very busy street. Could hear traffic at night but other than that, the accommodations were fantastic. Easy to get around town to the courses we wanted to play and the owner was very nice when we had questions. Large garage allowed for parking and made it easier for unloading suitcases and golf clubs. Perfect for entertaining family or friends in an anxiety free neighborhood.

thank you very much for the 5-star review. Only one bedroom can hear the noise, but the sound/noise level is below AC's or ceiling fan's (around 30 db). Rest three bedrooms are at quiet level (around 15 db). Sure, if you are talking about outside in the backyard, maybe around 40 db.

The inside of the house was nice, clean and adequate. One small complaint inside was the wood blinds on the large window in the master bedroom. The mechanism for opening/closing them is broken/missing and we couldn’t get them to close completely and also there was a piece of the wood blind missing. Therefore we had an issue with the light they let in at night from a couple street lights. The back yard was not very clean. There were a lot of leaves and other debris from the plants all over the yard and outdoor furniture. The outdoor furniture was also very dirty/dusty so we wouldn’t sit on them. Since our stay was in the middle of the summer we didn’t want to spend much time in back yard but if it would have been in cooler months we would have been very unsatisfied with the back yard. After being there about a week we noticed algae in the pool. We notified the property manager and he came a day or two later and cleaned/serviced the pool. A week later there was algae again. Again the property manager came a day or two later and cleaned/serviced the pool again. We did take a pool water sample to a local pool store to be tested and the chemical balance was way out of wack according to them. The property manager did work on the chemical balance during our stay when he came to clean/service the pool. By the time we left it was greatly improved. The pool also got a lot of leaves in it daily and is really bad when a monsoon storm occurred.

Managing algae in extreme heat is a challenge—especially when temperatures reach 110–118°F. We've recently found an effective solution: PoolRx, a mineral-based treatment containing copper, silver, and zinc. We installed it today, and with this system, chlorine levels can be maintained as low as 0.5–1.0 ppm. Each unit lasts approximately 4–6 months and is designed to eliminate algae continuously. Regarding the tree debris: During your stay, we experienced 2–3 monsoon storms. These events can cause sudden leaf fall, which is unfortunately beyond our control. We appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain the property under unpredictable conditions.

Spring Training

The house is large and offers a lot of seating options for our group of 6. The bedrooms/bathrooms were good. We were told that they had 3 houses to clean and not sure if we could get in before 4 but did offer the ability to unload some luggage, into the garage, so we could go to a game. But, we were notified we could get in by 2p. Appreciated their communication and fexibility.The patio has a lot of furniture, would have been nice if it had been clean. We did sit outside a bit, but due the noise of the traffic and difficulty holding conversations we stayed inside. House is located on corner of a busy stree. The pool looked fine, we didn't use it, cold weather. The kitchen is NOT well equipped. When we questioned, we.were told that the previous long term customers must have taken things. No equipment except a coffee pot. We bought a wine opener. We cooked meals there and made do with what was available. Would have been nice to have a mixer...or even a whisk, a cookie sheet, glasses bigger than 8oz, a strainer of some sort.....Good location for grocers and restaurants.Just be aware of complaints which I informed owner/manager prior to our discharge. busy street

You informed us of your need for additional kitchen equipment only on the night before your checkout. During our conversation, you listed over 10 items with prices ranging from $30 to $2,500. While we do provide standard kitchen equipment, we are unable to accommodate unfamiliar or specialized items on such short notice. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund for items outside the scope of what we provide.

Our extended family stayed here for Thanksgiving. Pros: The place was very spacious and the furniture was nice and as pictured. The beds and couches were comfortable. Check in was easy. Kitchen had adequate dishes. Everything except the backyard was clean. Not a problem for us as we didn't use the backyard. Plenty of parking in garage and driveway. Instructions for wi-fi, AC/Heaters etc were good. Nice place for family to gather. Cons: Only 3 towels/washcloths for a group of 7. Shampoo in both bathrooms and conditioner in 1 bathroom were almost empty. No soap in showers. Not enough extra blankets for all beds. No extra toilet paper, just what was on dispenser. Couldn't get the icemaker/water from fridge to dispense. Door to main bathroom didn't latch properly when closed. The VRBO chat says messages are from Jan and Bob and listed their numbers but the the lady said she no longer works for the owner. She did call me back and give me contact number. Owner responded promptly. He intially said there were extra towels (20-30 then10-19) and blankets. He asked if it was really necessary to have the towels that day as he was 55 min away. He had me go buy some towels and reimbursed me promptly plus a little extra. Owner provided info for the locked closet so I could access a Brita filter for water. For the price we paid, I would have expected things to be better stocked for the number of people staying. Overall a good place but a bit of a hassle at first.

The extra toilet paper and soap/shampoo are under the bathroom sinks. The previous group stayed 5+ months and may have taken some towels. We restocked, plus what you purchased, so it's back to the 20+ level.

Thank you for reviewing the house. I noticed there were no comments, and I’m not sure why. Was it perhaps related to the pool service? The pool technician actually did come, but when he saw nine cars at the property (seven in the driveway and two on the street), he felt uncomfortable proceeding and decided not to enter.

The primary reason this group rated us one star was their disregard for the proper use of pool equipment. As local residents, they used the pool daily for extended hours, yet showed little concern for its maintenance. They removed pool equipment from the water, causing damage and risking malfunction. Despite knowing the equipment’s necessity, they requested a refund, claiming it caused them inconvenience. Additionally, they were dishonest about their group size—while they stated there were only two individuals, in reality, at least six people were present. Please refer to our other reviews, as this review does not accurately reflect the truth.
