The house was exactly as pictured on the website. The only thing that needs attention is the walls throughout needed to be cleaned. Owner was easy to communicate with.

Great location for Disney!

This property was the perfect size for our party of 6 adults and 1 kiddo. The location was safe and convient to many restaurants and stores. There were at least 3 separate routes to get to/from Disney which was a nice extra feature for heading out during work week rush hour. We really enjoyed the community pool and ended up being the only ones there the times we went (if you opt to go this route, keep flip flops or other shoes close by because the stone decking around the pool gets really hot!) - we also had a very lazy day mid week and ordered food from the British pub close by - fish & chips was great! The hosts were very easy to work with - we mentioned an issue with lighting and they immediately ordered replacement lamps for us!

Golf Trip

House was new and attractive in a quiet neighborhood. Property was clean and well maintained. Comfortable living area and great pool. The A/C worked great..... needed on those hot Florida summer days. The pool was refreshingly cool for evening swims. Close to Disney World, restaurants and shopping centers. Plenty of great golf in the area. Tampa courses were not too far away either. I would definitely recommend this property.... less expensive and much more comfortable than local hotels.

Wonderful

It was beautiful. We had a wonderful time, even with the snake in the garage. After we ran him out three times he didn't come back. Great location for all our gallivanting. We would definitely recommend the house and would love to use it again in the future.

What you see is not what you get!

The photos tricked us into thinking we had booked nice accommodation to spend 11 nights of our four week trip. Pool (unusable). Games Room (every game broken with bits and parts missing). Living room (without one place to sit (chairs and settee so old, worn and used...cushions squashed and without support. Kitchen very well used (part of which caused my stomach to turn). Ants very well at home here -upstairs' and down. A headboard without a bed frame. A cot unsuitable to a cat certainly not, due to grime, for a baby. A bathroom that would make your skin crawl. Mould. Mould. Mould. A very, very neglected property. Pool furniture looking like it had been pick up from the dump. If you are still thinking about booking this property our advice would be: don't. Horrid beyond belief.

You chose not to use it because you declined the optional pool heating, instead opting for the clubhouse's heated pool two houses away. Claiming the pool was "unusable" is unfounded. The games room is fully equipped, and we promptly sent new pool cues during your stay. Your expectation of a brand-new, luxury home does not align with our property description. You did not raise any concerns about the chairs, settee, kitchen, bathrooms, or the headboard during your stay. The crib was also in good condition, and since you didn’t travel with a baby, this seems unwarranted. We always inspect the home before each arrival to ensure cleanliness and readiness. Your claim about ants inside the house is unsubstantiated; however, we still arranged outdoor spraying as a precaution. Bathrooms were spotless, and no related concerns were mentioned during your stay. We have been in this business for 15 years, consistently ensuring comfortable, well-prepared homes. While not a brand-new luxury property, it is as advertised. Throughout your stay, we maintained professional communication and addressed your concerns promptly. Multiple cases you filed with Vrbo for refunds were all rejected due to lack of merit, and we hope this review isn’t retaliation for those outcomes. spacious but dated house

We had very mixed feelings about this property. Starting with the good, the communication with Michelle was excellent. She was very helpful and responded quickly. The property was located in a nice gated community with lots of amenities close by and a quick drive to Disney. Unfortunately the property was quite dated and required quite a few repairs. Additionally the beds seemed quite old and were extremely uncomfortable. They were very noisy and you could here all throughout the house when someone moved in any of the beds. Blinds were damaged throughout the house including the bedrooms so the morning sun would shine through the bedrooms. The lowest the air conditioning is able to be set is 74 degrees making it quite warm in the evenings. We ended up leaving early and staying in a hotel as no one was sleeping well between the beds, the warm house and the blinds. We were very appreciative of Michelle's warm welcome but would look elsewhere in the future.

Good to know that you liked the location and enjoyed the excellent communication. But I wish you communicated better to let me know the issues during the stay if anything really bothered you. I personally reached out to you twice during your 5 days stay, you didn't mention any of these before departure. This is a very popular house and people all love it. You also told me everything was fine when I personally checked on you. It's very surprising to hear about it this way and won't help anyone. Guest comfort is vital to us. We are always happy to assist anyway possible. This is the first time we hear about the beds. Although people have their own preferences on beds, we will definitely check and handle accordingly. The blinds weren't damaged throughout the house when we checked the house before your arrival. Also I have to mention what you said about the AC is not true either. Guests always have full control of the AC. If you didn't know how to adjust it, a simple text/call was all needed. We appreciate your comments but next time maybe a Disney Resort hotel with full concierge service would fix your expectations better.

Great location, community is good for small children with a small playground and access to club house. Has a few issues with the internet connection which were fixed quickly. Pool spa heat was a bit inconsistent. Overall enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend it! Prompt response by owner/property manager with questions etc.

Fantastic Stay!

The house was as described/pictured and perfect for what we needed. My husband and I have been to Disney several times but we have always stayed on Disney property. This was our 1st trip as a family and we decided a house was a better option for us. We have a 2 year old and wanted a crib in a separate room than ours to make it more normal for our daughter. It worked out perfect. We enjoyed the game room and pool/spa as well. The location of the house was great and it was much easier to get the parks than we thought it would be. The house is also in great proximity to stores and restaurants. This was our first experience renting a house and they made it so easy and were very nice to work with. I would recommend this property!

The home was great. It worked out great for our family. There were 8 adults in the group. I would recommend that you consider having more of the necessities at the home when the guests arrive since many people do have cars when they go on vacation,, so have to walk or get some public transportation to get to the store. We were able to take care of the situation, but just a thought. We loved the public pool as it allowed all of us to be together and Mike was great to check to see if everything was okay. The house was very clean when we arrived. Would recommend this home to other people. Also Michelle was great to work with and when we had a problem with the alarm system, she made sure someone came and checked it out. They do have further work to do on it to make it work right, but we were able to make adjustments, so it wasn't a big problem for us.

The property was beautiful, clean, roomy! Just as advertised.

When I arrived at the house with myself and my 4 kids I was pleased with the house. Everything was spotless, the pool was heated and ready for us, and the beds were comfortable and had plenty of pillows. The location was very convenient for Disney and about a 20 - 30 minute drive to Universal and International Drive. The house was just as advertised and, to be honest, I wasn't expecting that, since I assume that these sites will make things seem better than they are. We loved it. So much better than a hotel and perfect for a family.

Great house, location and things to do

The house was great, we loved the layout and had everything we needed to make our meals for 4 adults and 2 kiddos. We loved the layout of the house and how open it was. We took as much advantage of the pool as possible and loved that we were only 3 houses away from the club house and mini golf course which we played at least 15 times during our stay. Our kids also had a blast with the games in the garage. The stroller was an additional perk and saved us room by not needing to bring ours. We spent 2 days at Disney which was less than a 20 min drive and we also spent time at Longboat Key, Madeira Beach, and Clearwater for the sunset shopping in Pier 60 (thanks to Irish Mike for this recommendation) Working with Michelle was great, she was quick to respond to messages. We look forward to staying here again and have already referred it to a few friends.

Outstanding!!

We really enjoyed staying at this property during our recent vacation. Very quiet community with quick access to restaurants, grocery stores and theme parks. We hope to stay here again in the future!

The property was very outstanding as well as the pool.

I really like how the property was set up and how clean the house was. I was very impressed and my family really loved the rooms and the pool. I will definitely book my next stay with you guys in the future sometime this summer. Until then, keep up the good work.

Wonderful Villa w/Private Pool in Gated Community

My wife, 2-year old daughter, and I had a great experience renting this villa that's only 7 miles outside of Disney. We wanted something quiet and peaceful after action packed days at the Disney parks and this villa fit the bill perfectly. The pool and hot tub were awesome! The villa had plenty of room and could easily fit large families. It has a high chair, stroller, and two mobile child gates which worked great for keeping our 2-year old safe around the stairs. Also has a game room with pool table, air hockey, and foosball. We opted for the extra fee to heat the pool and I'm so glad we did. There's grocery stores and big box stores less than a mile away as well as restaurants. Very convenient location and safe neighborhood. The owner, Michelle, was excellent with communication and we felt comfortable renting from her and hope to rent this property in the future. I will definitely recommend this villa to family and friends.

This gated community is situated 6 miles, or less than 10 minutes from Disney's Magic Kingdom at the intersection of Highway 192 and Highway 27. It's easy to get everywhere. There are numerous shops, supermarkets and restaurants within a mile including Super Wal- Mart within 1/4 mile. There are also many golf (see the note for Golf below) and fishing venues within a few miles.

With approximately 160 houses High Grove is small enough to retain a lovely community feel, yet big enough to offer the facilities you would expect from a first class resort.

Golf: If you are attending a golf vacation, you are close to some of the areas best Golf Courses. You will be close to so many great courses catering to every skill level! Polo Park East and West golf courses only 1 mile away, Champions Gate – 5-7 minutes, Highlands Reserve – 3-4 minutes (crossing Hwy 27, 1.7mile ), Legends at Orange Lake - 6 minutes, Ridgewood Lakes Golf Club - 11 minutes, Mystic Dunes - 15 minutes, Southern Dunes - 18 minutes, Celebration Golf Club - 18 minutes, Falcon's Fire Golf Club - 20 minutes, Diamondback Golf Club - 25 minutes.
