Hi Marianne...thank so much for your kind words...we are so happy you and your group had a great time staying during the month of December '24 (plus I hope you felt more at home with the Christmas tree and decorations I decorated for your stay to get into the holiday season)! I see you mentioned 2 items: 1) Location proximity - I know each visitor's interests vary so the 30 minutes you referenced must have been for locations outside of the area (the beaches, local events, restaurants/nightlife and excursions are all well within that time frame). 2) You mentioned a misunderstanding about use of the garage? I do know you were able to keep all of your stored items in there (more than just bikes) & all guests use the washer/dryer in it too. I know the only thing mentioned is that your personal vehicle couldn't be kept in the garage for insurance reasons. But we are so glad you enjoyed the heated pool and the great weather so you all could enjoy riding your e-bikes! Enjoy the rest of your travels & we hope you visit again soon!

EDITED: FOR THOSE INTERESTED, THE HOME DOES HAVE A WASHER & DRYER. Hi Megan....thank you for your 4.8 review! Since it's important to me as a host, I'm happy to address your points made. I reviewed our text exchanges & your 1st one was how "lovely" the home was which means so much to us that you thought so! You did text asking where the washer/dryer was but then I helped you recall that the property description advised prior to your booking that there wasn't one but that there was a very nice laundromat within 3 minutes from the house that we have personally used. Regarding beach items, there were two umbrellas that were available to use for the home or beach with several beach chairs & floats. There were also basic toys like balls, football, frisbee, & a paddle ball game too. I always make it a point to check in with my guests to see how they are doing & if they need anything as you personally experienced...outside of the washer/dryer, you didn't indicate you had any questions or concerns. Regarding the beds, 2 of the 3 beds are less than two years old & the 3rd one is a newer futon mattress all of which are medium to firm. I can say I've actually had compliments on the all the beds but I do understand 'one size doesn't fit all'. And of course, I always check in with my guests to advise if someone will be there to mow the lawn & clean the pool, etc. Since you stayed 1 week, the pool needed to be cleaned during this time (this is par for the course with the Florida heat as I explained) so I reached out to you giving you advanced notice of needing to do a quick cleaning (cleaning time=20 minutes). When I didn't hear back from you almost an hour later, I texted you again when arriving saying I didn't see your car, knocked on the door & guessed you might have been out enjoying the area. I texted you again saying I would only go in the back to clean the pool & not go inside. Also texted you with the before & after pictures as well as when I finished cleaning the pool. Then as luck would have it, I got to meet you & your family as I was leaving! Again, I do appreciate your feedback...thank you again for staying at our lovely home!
