This big 4 bedroom/4th bedr loft, 4th bedroom game room with ping pong table and full air mattress, 2 baths, will sleep up to 12. Wifi. Three level, full kitchen, dihwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, fireplace wood stove/wood provided. BBQ, gas, deck. Close to River, Pinecrest Lake, Leland snowplay, dodge ridge, beardsley res, lyons res, black oak casino, historic state parks. 5780ft elevation.

CLEANING:
We have always and will continue to use clorox, lysol cleaners, sprays, and laundry sanitizer, vinegar, bleach as appropriate for each surface type. Our crews wear protective masks and gloves! We have always taken great care to protect our guests!

Beautifully appointed. Located in Strawberry 5-10 minutes from Dodge Ridge, Pinecrest Lake, Leland Snow Play, Black Oak Casino, Columbia State Park. 10 minutes from Lyons reservoir. 90 minutes from Yosemite National Park.
We have smoke detectors, CO detectors, fire extinguishers.

ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION:
* We provide cleaning service after your departure for a fee so you do not have to clean on your vacation. You should leave it tidy, rinsed dishes go into dishwasher so there's no ants etc. Cabins blankets and towels stay at the cabin. The crew does the rest.
We follow covid protocols and procedures, per vrbo listing information for California no contact entry.

Cabin at Strawberry

The place overall was clean and nice. But I’d have to give it 3.5 out of 5 stars. I have had better places for the price. The ceiling fans in the bedrooms were loud and noisy so we couldn’t use them. There was no indoor trash can so we had to hang a garbage bag on the back of the dining room chair wich was a unsatisfactory. The chairs on the deck were basic cheap white plastic chairs that had sap on them so when you sat down you would get sap on your butt, and they weren’t the most comfortable things either. I think this is the first cabin/house I have ever been to where where there are no sheets on the bed or toilet paper available. There were sheets to make the beds ourselves but it was recommended we bring our own linens. There was only 2 dishwashing pods and very little dish washing soap and the same with laundry soap..

Relaxing and spacious

Great property that felt like home - we even booked it for a second stay. Cozy and spacious, host is very communicative and friendly.

Listing description is misleading

We rented this cabin for my sons 8th birthday to celebrate with two other families and their kids. The listing seemed a good fit, as it is close to Leland snow play (although not as close as it says). Sadly, the description did not convey the following… You will need to provide your own: TOILET PAPER DISH SOAP HAND SOAP GARBAGE BAGS GARBAGE BINS FOR INSIDE (yes, they suggested we hang garbage bags on door knobs throughout the home) AUTOMATIC DISHWASHING DETERGENT COFFEE FILTERS LAUNDRY DETERGENT (if you plan to use) I was told all this after booking! I was told these were “Covid Protocols” which if you’ve traveled during covid, you will recognize right away, this isn’t so. Also, be advised your beds will not be made upon arrival. You will need to take down the comforters/pillows from the bed(s) and put on the sheets/pillow cases. This was apparently part of “Covid Protocol” as well. Hmmm…. Sheets were being touched and folded so I don’t understand why that is safer “Covid Protocol” then putting them on the bed and making the bed itself. The only thing that makes sense is that they don’t want to wash anything that isn’t used, which is the opposite of a covid protocol friendly environment. Said beds were very uncomfortable with exception of the king bed downstairs which was okay. Pros: location is good if you are looking to use Leland snow play. Cabin itself is not bad… good amount of space. Lots of parking avail Cons: Very outdated. All appliances look to be circa 1970’s. Microwave is not working, leak in fridge with note explaining, and cleaning could’ve been much better (dead flies in window track when you open the master bedroom window), dishes were not all clean that were in cupboards. Ironically there was a note that “for our convenience the dishes were left clean in the dishwasher.” Upon arrival the temperature was 44° inside the home. We were told in writing several times to leave the home at 55° when we left (which we did). Communication with owner was not great. We had to prompt several times to get answers about what was not supplied to understand what specifically to bring. One question never got answered or addressed at all. The one positive thing that the owner did was give us a late check out. If you are looking for a basic stay and have low expectations/needs… this is fine for you. I expect much more based upon the listing description and paying over a thousand dollars for 2 nights.

When I started, the cabins didn't even have TV, it was the forest and fun that drew guests up the mountain to play, swim, fish, hike, bike, horseback ride and visit Columbia State Park, Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, Pinecrest lake, Ice skating, snow play, Tuolumne and Stainislaus River, big Trees and so much more. It has been a pleasure to serve thousands of guests over the years. We do our very best to make each stay a great experience. The crew works exceptionally hard to keep everything going! We look forward to having you as a guest!
