Welcome! to your ideal home base to explore all that Black Mountain and Western NC has to offer! This adorable cottage is perfect for a weekend and ideal for a longer getaway. The size is just right for a couple, a family with school-age children, or as a retreat for four adults. It is a well-appointed 2 bed/2 bath home with a fully stocked kitchen and a beautiful porch where you can dine or enjoy the garden. Time it right and you can gather fresh vegetables and flowers from the yard! Book now!

This house is my primary residence but I spend about half the year in Colorado with my family. My home is warm, welcoming, and fully stocked with everything you'll need to feel right at home right away! I love to cook and have a well-stocked kitchen including spices and oils for your use. As you come in the front door you will find fresh herbs and lettuces growing- also for your use. The neighborhood is very friendly and walkable. The Greenway is only a block away from the house and downtown Black Mountain is an easy one-mile stroll.

Quiet and relaxing stay

It was an easy process. The house was cute and comfortable. The second bedroom was very small and not a bed but a futon and a little difficult to open and close but comfortable. I think leaving more towels for each guest would have been helpful. We had to use the same bath towels all week which we are not used to. With no closet and most of the drawers filled with the owners things there was only room for my husband to unpack I had to live out of my suit case all week. I had to contact the owners a few times throughout the week. She was very responsive and helpful. It was a wonderful place fir our friends and family to stay with us.

Cute and clean property in a great location

This property was perfect for our little family of three. The location was great to walk to Black Mountain or to Montreat. We only really needed the car to get to Asheville, and that was a quick and easy trip. The home was clean and the kitchen fully stocked for those that may want to cook; grocery store is close by. The host was very responsive and check-in/ check-out was contactless. We would not hesitate to request to stay here again if returning to the area.

I love having people over when I'm home and when my travels take me away I like knowing my house is still full of laughter and good company.
