Big Deschutes Rivers Edge Charming Cabin-2 bd/1 bath - sleeps 7. Grab a good book and enjoy the Beautiful expansive Riverview from deck fire pit area, or relax in the hot tub with the same amazing views after a day of kayaking on the river. Kitchen fully stocked, Smart Tv's in bedrooms and living room, Game room w/ping pong table, smart TV and karaoke machine, 2 big kid bikes, 2 kayaks & life jackets, botchy ball, ladder toss, play a friendly game of horse shoes (located at the back side of house next to chain link fence) or just sit back and watch all the wildlife. Local eateries, unique shops, and adventure charters await in the Village at Sunriver which is about a 5-minute drive from our vacation rental. Only approx. 3.5 miles to the Sunriver bike path entrance by Harper bridge to enjoy miles of bike paths, 19 miles to Mt. Bachelor for a day in the snow & 27 min to Bend. We love our little piece of heaven, and you will too!

Great location to. get away

The house was located right on the rives and was a cute octagon shaped structure. It had lots of outdoor options to lounge and the dock on the river was the best part. Easy to do a river float or kayak and start from or end here.

Good place for a big group

A very nice location on the river. The hot tub was great. Unfortunately we were not left enough towels for all 9 people and one of the kayak paddles was broken and unusable. Floors were not the cleanest and thankfully I brought extra paper towels and toilet paper. Would stay again but would bring extra stuff.

I'm so sorry to hear you weren't left enough supplies for 9 guests. Thank you for letting me know one of the kayaks needs repair, we will fix that. We have a 5 star for cleanliness so I'm surprised the floors were dirty, I would of had someone come back over and re-clean them had I known. I had messaged you before and during your stay and said if you need anything during your stay to please reach out and we would be happy to help, we could of brought you over more supplies etc. Unfortunately you didn't have any communication with me during your stay so were not aware of your concerns. Communication is the best way to ensure a wonderful stay. Thanks for choosing our property!

Family Anniversaries

We spend a weekend in July every year in Bend to celebrate my parents, my sister and brother-in-law’s and my husband and I’s wedding anniversaries and this was the best place we have stayed. The location was perfect. The dock area was perfectly set up to kayak and paddle board from as well as jump and swim from. The ping pong table and hot tub were great to have in the afternoons and deck was perfect to sit and enjoy the view. We will definitely be back.

Excellent family getaway

My family had a great time at this home. The house is exactly as described and the pictures give you a sense of the home. The river and outdoor spaces were fantastic and we spent a lot of our time on the dock jumping into the water. The home was clean and well stocked with essentials. There were cleaning supplies, a fully stocked kitchen, and extra towels and bedding. It was so nice to rent a home that actually provided enough supplies (toilet paper, dishwasher and laundry soap...) to get you through your stay. We would absolutely stay here again!

Clean, relaxing get away

The home was clean, beds and couches were very comfortable and the location next to the river was beautiful. The kitchen had everything that we needed and all the supplies were well stocked. Only a couple of suggestions would be to add some lighting by the back door. It is very dark at night and there are steps to navigate. Also add a mat to the back door so we can wipe our feet off from the outside dirt. Would love to come back.

Birthday Celebrations

We rented the property to celebrate a couple of birthdays and get out of town for the long holiday weekend. The location was perfect, some of the best riverfront space we had seen on our floats. The guest apartment was perfect for getting some separation for those who needed more sleep. The beds in the main house were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed for some delicious dinners. The best part of the rental is the outdoor space: great deck with lots of seating, multiple fire pits, a hot tub for the chilly nights. We spent most of our time just enjoying the river view. There’s plenty of parking and it’s set off the road, so it feels very private. We had such a great time, the group is already asking if we can rent it again next year. Cheers!

Great location and amenities

Our stay was good, however after paying a $250 cleaning fee, I was disappointed and irritated to find the dining table very dirty, washing it made it clear, it had not been cleaned in some time. The chair backs were sticky and even dirtier. The floors were filty, seems only a broom had been used for some time. There is a strong musty/mildew smell in the bathroom. A 5 star home and location with a 2 star cleaning. I brought it to Owners attention. The pictures I took were unwanted and I did not receive any kind of apology or refund on the $250 cleaning fee.

I previously thanked you for sharing your concerns with me and I immediately passed your concerns along to our property management company. I also told you that cleanliness is very important to us and this is unexceptable. If you would of told me or property management about your concerns when you arrived or during your stay we could of found a resolve but you didn't tell me until after you checked out. I messaged you several times before and during your stay and told you to reach out if you needed anything but you didn't respond. Communication from a guest is very important during a stay so we can ensure our guests enjoy their stay.

Simply AMAZING

Every single bit of our stay was remarkable. I wouldn’t change a thing! From the coffee pot to the kayaks everything we needed or wanted was right at our fingertips. Our group did several floats from the upstream bridge (can’t remember the campground we put in at) as well as several going downstream to the bridge in town. Both were roughly two hours of serene beauty in all directions. The kids caught crawfish but nothing else despite their efforts but it didn’t matter a bit. The hammock was filled with laughter most of our stay. On multiple occasions we had deer on the property within 50 feet. Wonderful experience for all of us but especially the kids. We took a drive down to Crater Lake (90 mins roughly) and that will go down as one of our families best days ever! It had been 30 years since I had last been to Sunriver…I plan to be back as soon and as often as possible! We are already making plans for a winter stay so we can enjoy Bachelor. So grateful for all of the fresh but lasting memories. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven!

My Husband and I really enjoy our unique waterfront property. We enjoy sharing it with our family and others who we know will enjoy the peaceful nature of this property as much as we do!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

Float the Big Deschutes River from our private boat dock in the 2 kayaks that we provide. Take a 2hr Float down to the Harper Bridge which is local hot spot for people to park or float to. You can also keep floating past harper bridge to the marina or other spots along the way. Our property is approximately 3.5 miles in driving time to the bridge to exit the water if you choose to continue your float to the Sunriver Marina. You can also access the Sunriver bike paths from the parking area by the bridge as well.

Nearby activities including tennis, biking trails, pool, a snow tube hill, horseback riding, a marina, and four golf courses within a 10-minute drive. Local eateries, unique shops, and adventure charters await in the Village at Sunriver, only minutes from our vacation rental.
