Excellent property

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property was located centrally to all of the places we wanted to see within a short drive. We went to Ben &Jerry's, Cold Hollow Cider and many other places. The drives were absolutely beautiful.

Cozy comfy condo

I stayed for the month of August to escape the heat. Lovely community with nice pool. Fantastic kitchen- well set up for cooking, and nice gas grill on large deck by the stream. The beds were very comfortable. Several different visitors all raved about how comfortable the beds were. Great area to explore. Living room cozy and good TVs.I would definitely recommend and would come back.

Cozy Mad River stay

Great base to enjoy the snow of Mad River area of VT. Cozy living area. Well stocked kitchen with every tool/ gadget you could need. Mud room with plenty of space to dry out the ski gear and hang ALL the jackets. Sleeping spaces are snug, but comfortable and the living area has ample space for a family to gather to play games, do puzzles, watch movies. We’ll be back.

The kitchen was fabulous, and well-appointed with lots of dishes and cookware. And the whole place was clean. Outside of the kitchen, the condo was a little tired...needed a paint job and some new furniture. The heated floors were nice, but there was no information about the thermostat in the living room and how it worked. The host was very responsive when we couldn't figure out how to warm up the place. In fact, there was no welcome packet or notebook that would tell us how things operated or favorite restaurants nearby. And it is helpful to have a printout posted somewhere of the checkout instructions (rather than just relying on our phone). And the "run the dishwasher and put away the clean dishes" is a bit much to expect when visitors are trying to get away. (We did run the dishwasher, but left it running when we checked out since we also had to strip the beds, collect all the towels, and dump the trash)

A Great Place To Stay!

This was the perfect place for our family, and we would stay here again for sure! The condo was very clean, the beds comfortable, and the gathering space inviting. The kitchen was well equipped with enough dishes, etc for other family members who stopped in. Communication with the owner was seamless. The online listing could be improved by giving more information about the bedrooms…. Two of them are very small, have curtains, not doors, and have a very tiny opening to the living room below. This was not a problem for us and was clarified by the owner prior to our stay. But they are not the traditional bedrooms with doors and for some that may be important. Also, the entire complex has water that is not drinkable. We knew this ahead of time as a family member has a unit there. Ample drinking water was supplied by the owner, but again it would be helpful if this information was in the listing. We highly recommend this condo!

Not a four-bedroom, but a nice place

This townhome is a very nice unit – it’s decorated nicely, and it’s in a great location for Mad River Glen skiing and also close to a few towns with good food. They have a bunch of board games and a well-equipped kitchen. I gave four stars, but really, it’s a 3.5 for us. Here’s why: - The listing says four bedrooms. But it is not. There are two very small alcoves (with low ceilings) upstairs outside the two real bedrooms that have a bed in each one. They are cordoned off with a curtain (so no door), have no closet and are open to the living space below, which is challenging as far as people trying to sleep with light and noise coming up. - The pillows were uncomfortable - we all agreed. Too big and firm. A rental should have a variety of pillows so people can choose what works for them. - Single ply toilet paper. Seems petty, but it really makes a difference. - The owner forgot to send me instructions for how to get in. She was very quick to respond when I reached out about 45 minutes before we would be there, but it did create some stress on our part as we drove not knowing if we could be able to access the unit. So while the place is nice, none of us got great sleep (alcoves and pillows). Honestly, I’m not sure we would stay there again because of that.

We are thrilled that you enjoyed our condo! We have spent much time and energy updating it for all to enjoy. I was very apologetic that I forgot to send you check in instructions earlier, that is very unusual for me. Regarding the pillows, we have 8 pillows on the 6 beds (2 queen, 4 twin) and have not heard this complaint from any of our previous renters. Our unit has a septic system and in order to mitigate backups we were advised to use single ply/easily broken down toilet paper, again, we have not heard this complaint from any prior renter, I hope people understand the need to ensure the septic does not get clogged and back up into our condo. In our description we do describe each room in detail and do call them 'alcoves' not bedrooms.
