Altes Bauernhaus auf 11 Morgen entfernt. Sehr privat und hervorragende Rodelhang im Hinterhof. Charmante und komfortable perfekt für Familienspaß. Schön eingerichtet, Antiquitäten, Sammlerstücke, zusammen mit neueren Artikel. warm, Baseboard Wärme zusammen mit einem schönen Holzofen im Wohnzimmer. Tolle Aussicht und eine schöne Rodelhang im Hinterhof. 3 Schlafzimmer und Haus wird 11 0r 12 sehr bequem schlafen. Spa Zimmer und 6 Personen-Spa und ein 4-Personen-Sauna. 3 Bäder. Für große Gruppen gibt es auch eine Wohnung unter Haupthaus wird Wohnung 5 schlafen. Es ist ein Deck aus Haupthaus und wir haben einen Grill, der auf der Plattform verwendet werden kann. Kein Rauchen im Haus nicht gestattet. Nur 15 Minuten von Skigebieten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Haus ausgebildete Hunde sind erlaubt, Haus verfügt über Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine und Trockner. Alles ist im Haus wie Bettwäsche, Töpfe usw. Wir haben große Geröll Fernsehen und Internet zur Verfügung. Alle Bettwäsche zur Verfügung gestellt.

Quirky and cozy farmhouse

We had a wonderful time at this cozy farmhouse. We can't recommend it highly enough and look forward to the next visit. The sauna and hot tub were the cherry on top!

Lovely setting, convenient to skiing

Easy access to Sugarbush (20 minutes) and Bolton (35 minutes). We enjoyed the woodstove and sauna after skiing all day.

Classic old farmhouse with lots of character and quirks. The family room is nice and big with a wood stove that makes it very cozy. The house feels like stepping back in time to your grandmothers farmhouse, lots of antiques and Knick knacks. The house is a bit overstuffed with extra furniture that clutters up the space a bit. Being an older house the stairs are very steep - so probably not the best for older people or small children. We were there with our 19-22 yr old kids and our dogs so it was perfect for us. The back of the house looks out over a scenic VT landscape and the road is quiet. We were only 20 minutes from Sugar Bush which was awesome. When we arrived, it was dark, but the house had candles in all the windows and a small Lit Christmas tree in the window which made it feel very welcoming The hot tub and spa were not working unfortunately so I cannot comment on those Dave was great with communication throughout the booking process and our stay. We would definitely rent again :)

Very great hosts!

Even though there was a mix up on the reservations, (on VRBO's part), Dave stepped up and took care of the issue so that everything else went off without a hitch. Wonderful place, that had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to return in the future.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is older and has a lot of quirks, but pleasant. We would recommend that the owner remove a few pieces of furniture to open the home up more. The location was great, and we were able to tour all around central Vermont

Review of Property

Dave and Margo's place was a great spot for a group ski trip! Plenty of space and great appliances for cooking large meals. Only thing to mention is if you're going during mud season definitely make sure you have AWD or 4WD. Would definitely stay at this property again!

Vermont Preserved

This rental is a great combination of a cozy old farmhouse, a babbling brook, a hillside of ferns surrounded by trees and a view of the tree-covered hills rising up beyond. The location has great access to loads of charming villages, swimming holes and walking trails as well as Burlington, Middlebury, Montpelier, and Stowe. The owners were very responsive to any issues and questions.

Fall Folliage Tour

Location was great for us to enjoy Smugglers Notch, Stowe, and Woodstock on different days. Farm House is tucked away from the busy roads and has a lovely back deck overlooking a large back meadow with a wide creek. It is rustic as advertised and stairs to 2nd floor could be tricky for people with knee problems. but we enjoyed its character and felt it was a good value as well. Would stay again if in the area with family.

Classic Mad River Valley experience.

The property is beautiful and secluded. The view from the back porch is enough to sell the spot. Great old furniture and decorations, but also a hot tub and sauna. WiFi provides service for devices, but i chose not to use it and focus on the peace of the mountain.

Comfortable, homey farmhouse with great owners

We loved our holiday stay here--it was a wonderful, warm country-style place lovingly decorated for the holidays, inside and out, that felt a lot like coming home. Really quite well equipped for a vrbo with tons of comfortable seating and beds. Not everything worked perfectly, but Dave and Margo worked assiduously to make our stay very happy. Both were conscientious communicators and incredibly friendly. And the location was perfect for a snowy Vermont Christmas, with great nearby towns, good XC skiing, and affordable old-time downhill at Mad River Glen. We'd go back without hesitation.

Old Rustic Farmhouse in the woods

The house sits on top of a sledding hill next to a brook and offers a nice view. Sugarbush is about a 15-20 minute ride. The house is rustic and unique and has antique furniture, kickknacks, and houseplants. It has a spa and hot tub. There are three bedrooms, one on the first floor, two on the second floor. The upstairs bathroom is a "walk through" to the bedroom and has a twin bed in it as well. There are three baths, two with showers, and one with a tub. One bathroom is in the basement and is shared with a basement apartment that the owners use when they come to stay in the apartment some days during the week. The kitchen includes basic cookware, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, and basic necessities. There is laundry in the basement. The owners are very communicative.

Quiet retreat

Dave and Margo were very helpful, and sweet. The place itself is in the perfect spot on a quiet private road. The back deck was beautiful to sit on early in the morning and watch the sun rise. We used the hot tub every night after a long day of hiking, it was so wonderful. There’s a line out back you can hook your dog up to run around, and the sauna was also super nice to use, once you figure out how to use it, which Dave and Margo were more than happy to help. I would definitely stay here again.
