Welcome to the Pine Tree Cabin. This charming log cabin is located just minutes west of downtown Asheville. The cabin is close enough for guests to enjoy all that Asheville has to offer yet also provides enough space for families or friends to enjoy the peace and quiet in a private, wooded setting.

There are two covered decks with mountain views, patio furniture and string lighting. The downstairs porch is home to an amazing built-in hot tub! The decks lead out to the fully fenced back yard that is perfect for pups and kids to play, we allow up to three dogs with a $50 nonrefundable pet fee. Take a stroll up the path to the fire pit and enjoy your time under a sky full of stars, or cookout on the charcoal grill.

Indoors you'll find a beautiful living room with large vaulted ceilings. The gas wood stove will keep you toasty while hanging out on the big leather sofas. Not to worry, the house is equipped with central AC for those summer days. An open kitchen allows guests to enjoy each others company and the large flat-screen TV included with Netflix. The kitchen is well stocked with all cookware, dishes and appliances you will need including dishwasher, microwave, stove/oven and small appliances. The Main floor bedroom has a king size bed, 32" TV with Netflix, and a full bathroom. The loft bedroom holds a king size bed and seating area, perfect for your morning coffee and a good book. The lower level has a queen size bed and full bathroom. A separate area has a full size couch with a 50” flat screen TV. Only 100% cotton bed and bath linens are provided. WiFi is fast and reliable. Laundry room with washer/dryer.

Fun mountain activities like hiking, biking, rafting and definitely don't forget to take a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway!

Plenty of space and outdoor patio. I love the wrap around enclosed fence. My husband and I stayed in the basement room, with straight access to outside. I just let the dog out when i woke up and I head upstairs. I call them in from upstairs front door. It’s was really convenient. The high ceilings and fireplace were also my favorite. It took us about 25-30 mins to/from downtown Asheville. I was concern that the house was going to feel cold but it stayed warm inside. I don’t recommend this cabin if you have accessible needs. No fault to the house or host. My husband has bad hips, so the stairs were scary to watch him walk down. They were a little steep for him to step down. The tub in the basement room was too high for him to lift his leg. Again, no fault, just informational if someone were looking. This is a fairly new injury and I’m just learning to adjust to his needs. Grandma and mother in law had the main bedroom on the main level, who has bad knees. So we gave them that roomJust an FYI, there is a neighborhood dog that comes around. Really friendly and sweet. My only concern were my dogs. They are friendly and loves other dogs but they lost their mind when they saw him. I didn’t want to give my dogs the opportunity to jump out of the fence when they see him walking. The dog owner was kind enough to keep him home during our stay. Again not an issue. We really appreciate the accommodation. We will definitely book this again if we have a need for 3 bedrooms. Thank you!

I had a great stay here. I loved that the property had plenty of room to accommodate us as well as our pets. The fenced in area offered a safe space for our dogs to play. We really enjoyed having three covered areas outside to hang out. I specifically appreciated that the downstairs offered a separate room where I could play my PS5 without taking over the TV in the living room. The beds were also very comfortable. Another plus was that the property was very private. Overall, we had a great experience and would book again if we return to the area.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was clean, nicely decorated for Christmas, and had all the amenities needed. We brought our 3 dogs, who played and loved the fenced in yard. The owners were also quick to respond if anything was needed. I would definitely return!

Great cabin for dog parents!

We had a great time at this cabin! Our two dogs (40 and 45 lbs pitt mixes) were happy to have a fenced in yard to run in and to be able to lounge on the couches like they do at home (thanks to the hosts providing couch covers that were easy to use). It was great to FINALLY find a place that would allow bigger dogs. ❤️ The check in and check out process were both very easy, and I appreciated how responsive the hosts were. The cabin is in a great location - not far from Waynesville or Asheville. I would definitely recommend friends to this spot!!

An Absolutely Perfect Place and Stay

This is a beautiful home with so much space for a big family to spread out in! Great privacy but lots of room for family activities including a downstairs den/game room and large family room and dining room. Very nice bathrooms and very cute, well-stocked kitchen. We took our small dog with us so the fenced in yard was great. We would definitely stay here again!! Great communication from the owner too.

House was great! Had a side yard complete with small wire so our small pooch could not wonder off. Bedrooms were separated so everyone had their own space. Very clean. Nice spot! Located just minutes from The Farm venue where the wedding was held. Awesome house.
