Fun in the sun beach cottage

This review took us by surprise. The cottage is rented without linens and towels. This information is provided in the listing on VRBO. We do have linens and towels which would have been provided (for a fee) had we been notified that they were needed. The door in the cottage is in the back most part of the house. It is an alternative exit if ever a fire should block the main entrance. We do not partake in watching that visitors are exiting or entering the cottage through that door. It would be a fire hazard if locked from the outside. It is pictured on VRBO. We take great pride in providing a very clean property. This cottage is thoroughly cleaned between visitors. If pests were found during your stay we would have appreciated knowing right away so we could have addressed the issue. It’s 2 weeks since you have left and we are just learning of these concerns. We haven’t seen any pests or signs of them in the time since you’ve been gone. It’s unfortunate none of these concerns were brought to our attention while you were there. We are active owners that live next door to the cottage. We go above and beyond to provide a clean cottage, make our guests feel welcome and do what we can so our guests have a nice visit. We’re sorry to hear that you did not have an enjoyable stay.
