Inside of Walden you will find beautiful lush tree-lined streets leading to the lake. Walden has its own church, fire station, marina, running trails, a fitness center with tennis courts and even some boutique shopping. All within a tiny southern charming community! There are three restaurants in Walden. Café on the green is located at the front of Walden where you can play around of golf and then sit back in the trees enjoy your victory. Brake water grill is located next to the marina. Enjoy a cocktail on the waters edge while you watch your children run and play in the grassy peninsula surrounded by sunsets, boats, the splash of water and the sound of live music! The yacht club is a nostalgic experience with its classic country club vibe. Sunday hosts a brunch well worth $15 just for the people watching. Hard-working chefs, wait staff and members of Walden will delight you.

A variety of boats are available to rent from Einstein‘s, along with any fishing supplies that you may need including tackle. Paddle boarding JetSki‘s pontoon boats, and kayaks can be found close by for your enjoyment.

Beyond Walden you will find restaurants in the Waterpoint area. A newly constructed area with great food and a fish feeding area that’s a must see for your family! Be sure to bring a quarter so you can feed the fish. Montgomery is full of antiques, restaurants, history, parks and a mile up the road is the Sam Houston Forest where are you can hike, relax, kayak in the lake, and just bring your body back to balance with the nature.

Walden and the surrounding area has everything you need for a getaway, a stay for a wedding, business meetings, or a romantic getaway with your honey.
