One of the best kept secrets on Earth!

This place is truly heaven on Earth. The staff and location are simply fantastic. The accommodations are straight out of lifestyles of the rich and famous. Can't wait to go back!

Christmas week in Paradise

Three generations of family, ages 5-75, swam, played, explored the area and snorkeled, while enjoying the beautiful home and hospitality of the staff at the Hacienda.The food they provided was delicious, the housekeeping made the week very relaxing, and the physical surroundings were beautiful! Highly recommend the Hacienda to any group.

Family fun

The staff at Hacienda del Secreto were great! They were efficient and thoughtful. The meals were good and very timely. They met all our needs even when we gave them very little advance notice. Oscar and the staff made us feel very welcome! A great place for a family vacation!

Unbelievable experience

Our party of 6 just stayed a week here for our family vacation. The communication was wonderful before we even arrived. Oscar answered every question patiently, and there were many questions. He helped us arrange transportation to and from the airport. He even helped us ensure that the shuttle driver stopped at a local grocery store on the way there from the airport so that we had snacks and essentials for our stay. He coordinated many of our meals before we ever arrived. He also scheduled our Covid test at just the right time with a Doctor that personally arrived at our Villa. The house was absolutely gorgeous! The views and balcony area from the grand master suite were so nice. The pool and hot tub were great. We enjoyed cooking as a family in the kitchen. We also enjoyed the wonderful meals every night at dinner, and several times at lunch and breakfast, that were prepared by the chef. All of these meals were delivered directly to our villa and set up for us at our dining table. Happy hour was a treat every day! The margaritas were my favorite, but we all enjoyed the strawberry daiquiris and piña colada‘s as well. Oscar helped us coordinate a shuttle in Playa for a great shopping trip one day. He also helped coordinate a fishing trip for the two men in our party. They caught tons of fish, and the chefs cooked our catch that evening for dinner. Check out was at 11 AM on our final day. We had booked a 6 PM flight. Oscar arranged for us to have full access to another villa during the 4 1/2 hours we had left before the shuttle came to get us. He went above and beyond to take care of us the entire stay. This was a dream vacation for us. It was everything we expected, and more. A huge thanks to Oscar, and the many other wonderful employees here, that spoiled us all week!

Umakiha at Haciendo Del Secreto was a dream vacation

This hidden gem just North of the Riviera Maya resorts is a must for a luxury, private getaway. The property is exactly as advertised and was clean, well equipped, and fabulously comfortable. The home run is the staff, who will tend to your needs via a walkie-talkie, in just a few minutes. As a foodie, the quality of the meals and snacks was world class. The maid service and the ground staff was top notch. We complained about the temperature of the jacuzzi, and a new heater arrived in minutes to cook us, like chickens in a pot. The beach and grounds are beautiful and private. Security guards were on guard at all times and we never felt vulnerable, even being in the middle of nowhere (which we liked). Note that the kitchen, although modern, is not for chefs. Sit back and let them bring you food, or dine at nearby at really awesome Playa del Carmen - excellent food and shopping. We got married on the beach there, and it was an experience we will never forget - Tina and Doug and Family

Wonderful, Beautiful & Private place to spend time with friends and family!

Hacienda del Secreto and their staff are amazing. The house was spacious, beautiful, comfortable and it had everything we needed and the beach is right at your finger tips whenever you want it. The staff is just a walkie talkie call away, and they ensured that we had a lovely time, we can't think of anything that we didn't like about our stay except for leaving. I highly recommend Hacienda del Secreto to anyone that wants a private oasis to spend with friends and family, we plan to return for sure!

Incredible Place, Unbelievable Wedding!

I can not say enough amazing things about HDS. First of all, this wasn't just an ordinary vacation for us..we decided to select HDS for our wedding. Having a destination wedding can be hard, especially if you've never seen your venue. But based on all the rave reviews, we decided to book it! We were blown away. The property is even more beautiful in person. The staff ( shout out to Mauricio/Doy/Natalia/Juan) is unbelievably accommodating, flexible and top of the line when it comes to service. Our guests couldn't believe how gorgeous everything was! And the food...wow. After it was all over, our guests were telling us that we need to renew our vows every year and they will all come back! We had 54 guests so booked the entire property, and I can not tell you how special it was to not have to fight resort crowds, stand in lines and fight for pool space. Many of our guests mentioned that because of the HDS experience compared to a typical resort, they were able to get to know so many more people! To everyone at HDS THANK YOU a millions times over. It was perfect. Can't wait to come back and visit again!

A great stay at Hacienda de Secreto

We found out about Hacienda de Secreto on the web. After much research, which was all positive, we booked a family vacation for 10 (Multigenerational trip). To say we were not disappointed, is an understatement. This trip exceeded all of our expectations. The house was wonderful and beautifully clean, the food was delicious and the service and staff exceptional. We chose to have our meals delivered to the house and were pleasantly surprised to find out it is not just delivered, but served restaurant style. Pool and ocean literally outside our door. What more could you ask??

Lovely getaway

A gorgeous house with luxurious bedrooms, an attentive and pleasant staff who keep it spotless, a great manager, a perfect beach, a lovely little pool. The hot tub isn't quite hot enough--our only complaint. The nearest town, Porto Morelas, is a pleasant place to wander and eat.

Fantastic vacation rental and wedding location!

I can not begin to praise Doy (the owner/manager) and her staff enough for a week in paradise that we will never forget! We decided to do our wedding here at the recommendation of family who had attended a previous wedding here. We were just overwhelmed by the property, the amenities, and the high level of service and attention we received. A group of us rented Casa Sarita for the week and we ended the week with a WONDERFUL wedding celebration with 30 guests. First off the house: It was just BEAUTIFUL, the pictures and 360 views on their website do NOT even remotely do the house justice. Every day I discovered some new wonderful detail that gave the house so much character and elegance. So much attention to detail, and the property is very well maintained. They clean the beach daily, the rooms are very clean and well kept, they come in and clean basically all day! (it felt like the second we got a dish dirty there was somebody in there helping clean up, and with a smile on their face). The staff is just wonderful, they were happy to help us with any request we had and were just wonderful people to be around, they made us feel at home in every possible way and I can not praise the staff enough. We are already hoping to plan a return trip next year with our friends! The Wedding: was...perfect. Doy (who coordinated everything through her preferred vendors) did an amazing job of executing exactly what I wanted down to the last detail. She has clearly been doing this for a long time and knows exactly what to do and what to recommend. It was flawless, she not only executed every detail I requested but she added her own little details which only made our day that much more special. (Also the food was wonderful, our compliments to the chef) We can not thank her enough for helping us to create our dream wedding....my friends and family have not been able to stop talking about what a magical day it was and it was an experience that none of us will soon forget. Needless to say we were VERY happy with every aspect of our trip to Hacienda del Secreto and would highly recommend this location to anybody who is looking to have a special trip that is not like a typical resort experience. You get all of the intimacy of sharing a vacation rental with your family and friends but the luxury of ordering food and drinks and every need attended to as if in a hotel, and basically at the same cost if not less! You will not regret vacationing here :)

Umaki Ha a 'Must Visit!'

Myself and 6 buddies rented the Umaki Ha villa at Hacienda Del Secreto for 5 days and had a fantastic experience. The property was exactly as advertised and pictured on the web. Actually the marketing of the property probably undersold the villas! Everything was nice, clean, and well maintained. The staff was tremendous, doing all sorts of little things to make our stay extra special. They helped with transportation to and from the airport, as well as rides into playa del carmen. We always felt completely comfortable and safe. Every meal was delightful and we were all shocked at how flexible and accommodating the cooking was. One member of our party has severe food allergies and the staff took good care of him without compromising variety and quality for the rest of us. The icing on the cake for me was how helpful the manager was after I got home and realized I had left a few items. He went out of his way to help me find the best means of shipping back to the states, and processed everything for me with the same helpful and pleasing demeanor we experienced during the whole stay. I would recommend Umaki Ha and the other villas at hacienda del Secreto without hesitation!

Casa Umaki-Ha

Hola Doy ! We just returned home from our vacation in your Umaki-Ha villa. This been our first time renting a villa instead of staying in a resort, I wasn't sure what to expect. Let me tell you, never again will I stay at a resort now ! It was absolutely unbelievable from the second we arrived to the moment we left. Better than any 5 star resort, and I've stayed at many. Your staff, Mauricio, Oscar, Benny and the so many others were very professional and very attentive to our needs and wishes. Also to Jose, head of your security. My family felt as safe as home, if not safer, in your gated, 24 hour security patrolled property. If this wasn't enough to make us feel safe, the 2 way radio's to stay in touch with everyone from yourself down to gardener's was an unbelievable amenity, 24 hours a day ! We did use radio's a couple times and we would have a response from your staff in under 30 seconds ! Never would you find this at any resort ! With all the activities on-site, beach volleyball, boogie boarding, pool table, table soccer, etc etc, we never had a dull moment ! I could go on and on..... Thanks Doy and all the staff for an awesome experience and vacation ! We WILL be back, frequently ! Our home away from home ! See you all soon !!
