You're just minutes away from Gulf Shores. The family-friendly beachfront town where you'll find fine-dining, shopping and concert/festival venues. Some activities include: charter fishing boats, boat & jet ski rentals, Para-sailing, dolphin cruises, sunset sailboat cruises, beautiful back bays for boating, tubing, skiing and fishing, amusement parks, great restaurants with entertainment for all ages, golf, outlet malls, live concerts at The Wharf Amphitheater, and of course, plenty of sugary sand beaches.

Spring Break

The stay was decent. Pretty noisy due to work in the lagoon. The lagoon was convenient for our grandchildren, we didn’t have to worry about the rough surf in the Gulf. Property Manager communicated well.

Easy walk to the beach. Beautiful view of the lagoon behind the house. Plenty of room for 11 of us. Only issue was the ice maker.

Great Place to Stay With A Family

We had a great week there. The AC had an issue mid-week and they were very responsive and got it repaired the same day. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. It was very clean when we got there and check in was a breeze. The rooms are nice sized and well laid out. We enjoyed the family area and especially the decks facing the lagoon. It was a perfect place to stay.

Love the location and the property

The home is as described. Very clean !! The only thing I could see that needed replaced was the can opener. There are two there but neither works The walk to the beach is very easy !

Great for a family get away

We were wowed by the open concept of the living room dinning and kitchen area as soon as we walked up the stairs to the main level. The view of the bay was so beautiful. The 4 bedrooms were perfect for our family. We loved that there were a wide assortment of board games to play in the evenings. We were minutes away from all the fun places to eat and the beach was just steps across the street. We were in town for our grandsons baseball tournament and this house was perfect for this.

Beyond our expectations!

Our family of 12, including four young grandchildren had a fabulous time at Turtletracks #2 in Gulf Shores. The home was very spacious and having two balconies was great for watching beautiful sunsets and seeing all the fishermen out on the lagoon. The house was situated steps from the lagoon, which was a wonderful place for our little ones to play in the calm, shallow water. The kitchen was the most well equipped for cooking of any rental I’ve ever stayed at. We could walk under the lagoon bridge and be in the beautiful, clear Gulf water in a couple minutes! I don’t want to forget the marvelous pool just steps from our rental. What a marvelous place. We hope to come back next year!

Great, spacious, beautiful houise!

Loved the house! Had everything we needed. Kitchen was well equipped (even had THREE coffee makers! and a crock pot!). Master suite is amazing. Views from the balconies were beautiful -- those sunsets! Enjoyed the under-the-house area for cornhole games and visiting. Appreciated the charcoal grill. Pool is nice and VERY close. The only comment I have is the "steps to the beach" is a bit of a hike. There is no beach access directly across from the unit. There is a path beside the bridge that is 3 properties down, then a hefty walk in soft sand to reach the actual gulf waters. I counted over 400 steps, over 1/2 in soft sand. A lot for my 73 year-old legs, and hubby's 78 year old ones. But I would recommend this unit! We had a great time!

Nice but no frills

The house was beautiful and in a good location, but there were no frills like the last couple of places we stayed. The last two places we rented, one a condo and one home took in account families are cooking and had things like salt, pepper, just general needs families forget. The home had a couple of chairs, wagon and all the amenities that are hard to pack when traveling so families don’t have to go buy. Another nice touch would be to ask the cleaning detail to turn the air on just a bit the day renters are coming in. It was crazy hot and the air took approximately 2 hours to cool down. The kids room has no TV which was a huge problem with kids under 12, TV in master was broken and wasn’t repaired till our last day there and also the Keurig was broken.

Turtle tracks for the win

This place was perfect. You had the bayside for fishing the gulf side for beach fun and also the pool for more swimming. (We ran into jellyfish one day so the pool was a lifesaver). The owners responded quickly to any questions we had and gave us just what we needed to start out our stay. (Coffee, dish soap, etc….)

Family Getaway

Place was plenty big enough for our family & great location. Kitchen not greatly stocked for cooking all weekend for all the family. Needs some sort of shades for big windows when sun setting at times you can’t even see when you are in the house due to sun. Overall nice place but VRBO fees are really high will probably stick to a different site.
