La Ferme du Maquis

La Ferme du Maquis offers a unique holiday experience on a working farm spanning several hectares. Located 400 meters below the village, in the mid-mountains, it boasts breathtaking views of the plains and the sea. The comfortable accommodation, integrated into a former sheepfold, features two terraces: one paved with natural stone and a jacuzzi, the other a wooden terrace furnished with garden furniture, a table, a bar, and a barbecue, all within an open setting that immerses you in nature. The owners live and work on the farm. They offer complimentary guided walks through the maquis shrubland, opportunities to meet the farm animals: donkeys, Corsican goats and sheep, a small horse, chickens, and more. They also provide an introduction to organic fruit growing and market gardening adapted to a mountain environment. Fresh vegetables from the garden and organic eggs complete the picture! Peace and tranquility are guaranteed for holidaymakers seeking an authentic experience. You will also have access to board games, badminton rackets, a pétanque set, and a ping-pong table.

We initially settled in by converting the old sheepfold into chicken coops that met organic farming standards. Selling our eggs at local markets and shops, as well as directly in our village, allowed us to meet people committed to sustainable development. We integrated into rural life through the farmers around us, exchanging our various products. We have managed to grow while maintaining a small-scale, human-centered approach and offering healthy products within a limited area and quantity. We hope to share this wild and picturesque part of Corsica with nature lovers. Just a few minutes away, in the village center, you will find a grocery store, a bar, a post office, and street vendors. You will also find Corsican cheese and charcuterie producers selling directly to consumers. Antisanti is located in central Corsica, allowing you to easily explore both the north and south of the island. It's just half an hour from Aléria, with its river, beach, and all amenities.
