Thank you for your feedback, John & Michelle. My sincere apologies that the cabin was not up to the standard that both you and I expect. I wish you had reached out to me as soon as you noticed these concerns so I could have addressed them promptly at the beginning of your stay. After receiving your feedback, I spoke with my cleaning company and learned that my regular cleaning team was on vacation that week, and a different crew serviced the cabin. While that certainly isn't an excuse, it does help explain why the home wasn't prepared to our usual standards. The cleaning crew, along with the inspector who signed off on the home, are no longer working with us. We had also just completed a kitchen renovation prior to your arrival, and it appears the contractors accidentally left a small piece of painter's tape behind during cleanup. I appreciate you bringing that to my attention. I'm sorry our stainless-steel kitchen appliances did not meet your expectations. They are only a couple of years old and, as you mentioned, everything was in good working order. Our HVAC filters are replaced monthly, but because of the recent renovation, it's possible they collected more construction dust than they normally would. Thank you again for your feedback. We take comments like yours seriously and have already taken steps to ensure future guests receive the level of cleanliness and quality that we strive to provide.
