We are in Wears Valley, on the "The Peaceful Side of the Smokies," which is great for guests who desire:

• To be IN the mountains, not just NEAR them.
• To FEEL like you’re in the middle of nowhere, without the inconveniences of BEING in the middle of nowhere.
• To have very little traffic noise, less commercialization and congestion, and clear starry nights.
• To visit the national park and avoid the big crowds at the Gatlinburg entrance.

** Many nearby cabins are up very steep and winding roads - difficult in the dark, inclement weather, and motion sickness. However, to access our place, you are only two short turns from the main artery and it is FLAT!!

The cabin was as listed. Beautiful property, very clean and fully equipped and great location. The only negative was we couldn’t use it he pool because the alarm kept going off. We have a wonderful trip. I recommend getting an air fryer.

This house was absolutely perfect for our family! We had a total of 10 people aging from 4-81, and everyone had more than enough space and activities. The kids LOVED the indoor pool, they were in it everyday. Best part for the 8 & 10 year old was that the deep end was 5 ft! The alarms weren’t an issue, I appreciated having them due to the 4 & 6 year old. Hot tub was a hit for the adults, it is an older tub but worked just fine. It was also amazing have the game room for the kids, HUGE TV down there for them to enjoy movies and video games (we brought). The Kitchen was my highlight! It had every utensil, pot, pan, sheets, Tupperware, tons of plates and glasses and all at a very good quality. My other favorite was the wraparound porch and the neighborhood. My parents could do their morning walk surrounded by nice neighbors and mountains. We even utilized the fire pit area for morning sun and night Smore making. All and all we loved the house and wished we could have stayed longer. Everyone was very very happy. thank you.

Beautiful cabin, kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking utensils you could think of. Beds are so comfortable and the cabin was so clean. The pool is just perfect my family throughly enjoyed it and the hot tub, our last night we took advantage of the corn hole and fire pit and ended the night with s’mores!!! Family time is the best time!

My family stayed at this gorgeous home to celebrate my mom’s 75th birthday! The home was absolutely perfect for our family of 9! It was spacious and every adult couple had their own king bedroom suite! All of the beds were so comfortable! The kitchen was fully stocked and accommodating for our big family. The kids and teenagers absolutely loved the downstairs bunk room, games, hot tub and pool! It really was the perfect house for us to all be together and we were very comfortable and didn’t wanna leave! The house was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our stay.The host was amazing to work with and definitely went above and beyond for us! We all loved this property and will definitely be back in warmer weather so we can enjoy the outside amenities too!

Perfect Mountain Vacation

We had the best week in the mountains together. The house is exactly as listed, and is perfect for families with kids. The pool was the icing on the cake and kept the kids occupied on the chilly mornings. The kitchen is beyond well stocked, and the beds were super comfortable. Lauren had great communication & also gave us some recommendations on things to do and places to go. Thanks for making our first trip to the smokies so memorable.

Absolutely superior

We ended up traveling to Pigeon Forge the day before we were booked to stay at Mountain Majesty cabin and stayed at a hotel so we would not have to be traveling during the winter storm that next day. Lauren was so good to permit us to check in the cabin early, so we could get settled in before the storm hit. She also was kind enough to text us and follow-up with our stay since we did have some cold, icy weather. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous! Perfectly clean, easy to turn around and park, and very cozy!! The pool was the highlight of our stay while we were snowed in for half a day! The beds were very comfortable! We definitely give this cabin a five star rating!!

Perfect for our group of 9!!!

This cabin was perfect for my group of 9 to include my husband and I, our 3 teenage girls, and 4 other adults. We did a fish fry, enjoyed the 3-5 ft not 5-8 ft pool (no biggie), hot tub, ping pong table, old school video game machine, went to the mountain coaster up the road, and enjoyed the beautiful mountain views from the cabin. Lauren (owner) was quick to respond when we couldn’t figure out where the pool alarm was and a cabinet door fell off in the kitchen (no fault of ours). The cabin had more than enough utensils, pans, dishes, and other kitchen items. I would recommend this cabin for large groups!! Thanks so much for being so hospitable. Camille!

Best house in wears valley/pigeon forge area

This is our second time at this cabin and we will be back next year. The cabin is immaculate. It looks exactly as the pictures show. It is located just far enough from the main strip in pigeon forge but right in the middle of everything. The smoky mountains are near by and cades cove isn't far at all. You get to everything without all the traffic and when you return to the cabin at night after a long day it is quiet and relaxing. The pool is amazing but the wrap around porch is always our favorite. Lauren is amazing and so easy to communicate with. You will not be disappointed. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen amazing, and the views you can't beat. Highly recommend the property and the host. We are three women who travel and have not once felt unsafe at this property or in this area. Just a great place to vacation and rest and relax.

Mountain Majesty Indeed!

Everything about our stay was perfection from start to finish. Our host Lauren was super friendly, readily available by email or text & after we booked her cabin she reached out to let us know of some recent renovations that were made that changed some of the things in her original listing, giving us the option to rebook with another house if we wanted (nothing major that would make us change our plans, but I love that she was up front & made the offer!). We were lucky to be the 1st guests to stay with the new updates & everything was beautiful. You would never know that construction was being done mere days before our arrival. Meticulously clean! The property itself is close enough to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg so you don't spend most of your trip in the car, but just far enough away from all of the tourists & crowds that you get to experience the small town comforts of Wears Valley. I cannot rave enough about how wonderful this house was for us. The gorgeous wrap around porch, the main floor with cozy fire place & updated kitchen stocked with all the cooking equipment essentials you could possibly need, private bathrooms in each bedroom, & then there's the basement level game room/bedroom with it's own full bath & the separate room with indoor pool! There is literally everything you could possibly want in this beautiful home. If you have any questions you can send Lauren a quick message & she will reply in a flash! Their house mascot Ricky Raccoon is the cherry on top!

Traveled with my parents, 68 and 65, and three 12 year old girls…all asked to come back again during spring and summer. And this includes a 13 plus hour drive from Massachusetts. The cabin is as advertised. The main living area is open with views of the mountains. The bedrooms were big and comfy. The girls even had their own little wing downstairs that gave them access to the theater and the pool. I barely saw them when we were home bc they spent all their time down there hanging out. The indoor pool was a big hit for all.. not just the kids. It was big and deep enough (5 ft in deep end) to feel like an actual pool. We played cornhole on the wrap around deck and had a fire at night. It was a great time. The area has all that you’ll need 20 mins away. Typically on vacation I like to avoid touristy places but the location here offers best of both worlds. In the same day I was in the hot tub relaxing, looking at Mountain views and then an hr later watching the kids on go karts, whizzing around the track. We went for a small hike on the Appalachian trail and then hit up an arcade on way home. I highly recommend this home and this area.

My husband and I live in NY with our Miniature Schnauzer, Ro-Ro. Our cabin is our pride and joy...it's an 11-hour drive, but so worth it!

We travel every year to the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee in May and November and to the North Fork of Long Island, New York, in September.

This is our happy place, and I hope to make it yours, too. :)

The Cove Meadows neighborhood is located in Wears Valley, a picturesque community with easy access to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Townsend, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Unlike the cabin resorts, this is a quiet, non-HOA area with large lots, custom homes, and driveways. About half are rented when the owners aren't in town. We all take A LOT of pride in our neighborhood, and the properties are meticulously maintained.

Importantly, the roads have only gentle slopes and are paved. This is essential for safe dog-walking and managing inclement weather.

I've been hosting at this cabin since 2021, and I've honestly never come across any others that I'd prefer to own. The home was built in 2016, before the "construction boom," so in my opinion, the quality is superior to many of the newer ones - especially pool cabins (our pool is made of gunite and larger than most.) You'll find that we've achieved a nice balance - it stands up to the "demands" of a vacation rental (a pet-friendly one!) - but it also features the kind of high-end touches you’d expect in a home. I don't believe in being stingy with my cabin or my guests. You'll settle in effortlessly :)
