Ferme Claudius is a traditional building that has been renovated to provide all modern comforts. Its history can be seen in its spacious rooms, its preserved beams, and even its location at the foot of the slopes.

Upstairs, space and light fill the room under the beamed roof, embracing several living areas. You can gather around the wood-burning stove in the lounge, at the large dining tables inside, or on the covered terrace. There's room to sit at the kitchen counter or at a second table, where you can plan your days or keep the cooks company.

Two television areas offer spaces for games and relaxation.

The four bedrooms, each with a private shower room, mean there's no need to get under each other's feet. The bunk room will appeal to younger guests, who will instantly make it their own. The outside hot tub is the perfect place to relax and admire the views of the Val d'Arly.

Ferme Claudius has also been designed to be practical, with a fully equipped laundry room, several outdoor parking spaces and a ski room with heated boot dryers, the perfect complement to its “ski-in, ski-out” location.

This chalet is a place where hospitality, tradition and comfort come together, a welcoming space that makes you want to savour every moment spent there.

The chalet is located at 1,100m altitude and is accessible ski-in/ski-out via the Varins ski lift, which operates only during the French winter school holidays (Christmas, New Year and February holidays), subject to snow conditions. When the Varins ski lift is open: The last 200m of the road are closed to vehicles from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, while the ski slopes are open. You can park in the small parking area located 200m from the chalet. Access by car to the chalet is possible before 9:00 am and after 5:30 pm. When the Varins ski lift is closed: You can drive directly to and park in front of the chalet. To access the ski slopes, you can park at the Crêt du Midi chairlift car park, located 1.8 km away (5 minutes by car), or take the Combe Noire ski lift. From there, it is approximately 300 m via the ski slopes or 600 m by road to reach the chalet.



Before arrival, the property owners require all guests to complete a €1,000
security deposit card authentication for any damage or excess cleaning that may be identified after departure.
