The Space:
Welcome to Sandy Shore in Howard, Ohio! We are a spacious, luxurious, custom LAKEFRONT home on exclusive and private Apple Valley Lake. Home includes nearly 6,200 square feet of finished space with 5 Bedrooms, 3.5 Baths, 2 Family Rooms, 2 Laundry Rooms, and 65' of shoreline. There is additional living space with large flat screen TV in the walk out basement. Great room with vaulted ceiling and windows galore making beautiful views of the water, private courtyard, screened in porch and covered dock with sandy beach area and fire pit. Located in a calm, no wake zone. Two kayaks with paddles, stand up paddle board, floats, corn hole, and lawn games provided. Swimming and fishing available off the dock. Bring your own fishing poles.

We are not wheelchair accessible.

Guests have access to the entire house except some closets where we keep our personal items. You will have full access to the dock and the surrounding swimming area as well as non motorized water toys, floats and lawn games. Guests will not have access to boat.

We have a 10 adult guests max policy. If you have more than 10 adult guests you will be asked to leave. All guests must be registered. Apple Valley Lake is a private lake, not open to the public. We have two kayaks and two adult and two child stand up paddle boards available for guest use. Motorized boat is not for guest use. The local marina will not allow non-property owners to rent a a boat. Hot tub is drained and not operational from May to September but will be available for all stays October through April.

First aid kit and fire extinguisher are located in the closet with door on top floor in the hallway.

The wifi router is located in the second living room on the main floor in case you need to power it off and back on again. Please call us first if there are any issues.

There are 2 thermostats. One on the top floor, which controls heating and cooling for the top floor and one on the main floor, which controls heating and cooling for the main floor and bottom floor.
