This home was perfect for our two family spring break trip. The house was clean, well taken care of and exactly as we expected. The outdoor space was amazing with a beautiful pool and bar area. All beds were comfortable as the kitchen had all the necessities. Bill was great to work with and responded quickly to all my questions! I highly recommend this property and we hope to return soon!

Perfect Weekend!

We had the perfect weekend while staying at Steps Away in Ocean Isle Beach. The house is beautiful, the location is great & the pool is fantastic! Our host, William was very accommodating during our stay. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Property!

This was our best rental at OIB to date. The property was super clean, neat, and organized. The house was perfectly located on the East End close to a great beach access. And the outdoor space was awesome! We are super pleased and will definitely look to stay again!

Awesome Beach House

We rented this house for our annual girls trip. The house was clean, the host was very accommodating & communication was great throughout the stay. The beach is just around the corner and a much shorter Waltham what we expected. We will definitely rent it again.

House had everything we needed. Especially liked that each bedroom had its' own bath. Kitchen well stocked with necessities, house clean, owners very easy to communicate with, great location, pool and tiki bar a real plus.

Ringing In

A group of 6 adults and 6 children/teens had a great time over three nights to welcome in 2023. The house was a touch smaller than what we had previously stayed in as far as common areas go. We would also have liked a half bath. Two refrigerators and also a wine fridge was a plus. Check in was very easy as was beach access. I am sure during warmer months the pool and tiki bar would come in very handy. We would probably stay at the property again.

Perfect beach getaway!

This home has it all - clean, space, pool, tiki bar and a fantastic owner! I am so impressed by how clean this house is and we’ll maintained. When we had questions or needed to reach out about an issue, Bill was super responsive and helpful! We had a group that stayed at the house for a weekend. The space was absolutely perfect. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. Plenty of room to congregate indoors and outdoors. The area under the house with the pool, tiki bar, tv and outdoor furniture was the cherry on top! We loved our time spent here and are figuring out how soon we can come back!

Couldn't be better!

The house is immaculate, updated and has all comforts needed. The party begins downstairs with the tiki bar, beautiful pool and close proximity to the beach. 8 friends found a gem on this gorgeous island and loved every minute of our stay. Plan to come back.

Great Stay at OIB

We rented steps away for a long get away weekend. The house was as described and in a great location with easy access to the beach. We loved the pool and hanging downstairs at the tiki bar. Would recommend to others and stay again!

Quick getaway with teens

Loved this house! I booked last minute and the host was super friendly and accommodating. We loved that it was ony steps to the beach, had a heated pool (was a little chilly for April) and all the other amenties like pool toys, beach chairs, wagons, games, bikes....you name it they have it! The inside was just as lovely as the outside and I would definately reccommend again and again! Thanks

An amazing Customer Service Experience

The weekend we had here was an amazing one! The amenities were awesome, level of clean was very high, and the customer service was awesome. I received a personal phone call leading up to the stay that explained everything I'd need to know. You should definitely book here!

Spring Break 2022

This house is great! Our family had a wonderful time. Although the weather wasn't that great, we enjoyed time in the pool, by the tiki bar and at the beach. The owners really did think of everything. There were all sorts of pool toys, beach accessories and plenty of seating for everyone. The house is perfect for a bigger group and all age ranges. OIB is very clean and friendly. The shops are great with such good deals, I think we all left with a few sweatshirts (okay, we under packed our warm clothes, lol). Great times were had by all on this trip. I would highly recommend and hope we can get back some time soon! :)

Well designed house, amazing time

Our annual family gathering between Christmas and New Years was great this year. We are all grateful for the great weather and that we found this beautifully designed property. The owner thought of everything you might need like a well stocked kitchen, bikes, board games, corn hole, whole house. Sound system, great outdoor spaces to relax, an awesome pool and so much more. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of bathrooms. This is the nicest beach home we have ever stayed in. Rent it, you will not regret it.

Ocean Isle oasis

The photos online do not do this house justice-it is absolutely fabulous….. The kitchen is amazing, fully stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. All adult beds have extra comfy mattress toppers new fluffy pillows and the updated bathrooms offered just what we needed to feel at home. We loved morning coffee on the back with ocean views and an added bonus I wasn’t expecting was the sound of beach music I played through the Sonos app to keep me in vacay mode whenever I turned up the volume in the fully stocked kitchen! The outside was almost more amazing than the inside since the Tiki bar/Pool area has the works. We loved relaxing and grilling by the pool while watching tv and listening to music at the bar or on the comfy couches and chairs. I can’t wait to come back in the summer and spend the day relaxing on one of the aqua chairs sitting on the pool tanning shelf. And, I can’t finish up without commenting on just how close the beach is………it really was just a few short steps away. And best part, NO BOARDWALK OR STEPS. We just pulled one of the carts with the chairs and umbrella, all avail for use, right onto the beach. We were set up with toes in the sand in less than 5 minutes. This really is a must stay and I can't wait to come back again and again as this is my new go-to home in Ocean Isle.
